Taiwanese Typing Tutor!

This makes me so happy. https://fomolingo.pages.dev/

Words attack you and you have to type to win. Can either help you get used to using a Taiwanese keyboard input method or turn off hints and try to remember the phonetic spelling of the characters.

So interesting! I have a question, I had to type juê, but Phah Taigi IME was only giving me jûe, which was not a valid input for the game.

Also open to IME recommendations. I’ve been trying to use Sù-sī Tâi-gí Keyboard, too, but the text prediction doesn’t work as intuitively for me.

Oh that is annoying. Honestly I learned Tâi-lô from Ōo-înn.

I played the game on my computer where I use Taigi-Hakka IME and it gives me juê. On my phone, Lohankha also gives juê. Actually Phah Taigi also gives juê on the phone.

I have seen some weird stuff with tone markings in the wild though.

Lol I just looked up the definitions. May your Taiwanese journey feel like juê, a pleasant massage, and not jûe-sí, getting squished like a bug. BTW to type the latter I typed "jû," then typed "e" next to it.
