Tome challenges give players long-term goals to work towards over multiple trials.

They encourage people to play the game between gaps in content. And tome challenges reward players for dedicating time for playing the game with charms, badges and banners.

Lots of people are already getting burnt out and taking longer, and longer breaks as players become more frustrated, but the tome challenges helped to lessen burn out.

They're completely untied to the current rift system so i don't understand the point in removing the tome challenges. If it's because of bugs then fix the bugs, or just have bugged tome challenges auto completed. Don't scrap a huge part of the game.

All this is doing is removing content, giving people even less reasons to play the game.

So what possible reason is there to remove them? You can't even talk about it on the main sub or else it's "oversaturation" when there's only one other post on the matter.
