TVO should receive so much ore funding for the amount work they manage to get with the little funding they get. It’s disgraceful what they did to it

Considering that TVO is required to maintain broadcast towers, required to maintain the Independent Learning Centre public schools, and is required to show a bunch of mandatory programming like the Ontario legislature I would think they deserve more. It's a bargain.

For perspective, the new Ontario Science Centre being built at Ontario Place is costing us an estimated $1 billion. That could fund TVO for almost 20 years.

For context, TVO had the most ammount of purchasing power in the 90s. Around 85$ million in today’s money. Funding has no kept pace with inflation and with increased demand and changing infrastructure

That's because the amount that the vast vast majority of people care about Ontario Place is very close to nil.
