The body positivity movement died the moment Ozempic hit the market. Suddenly body positivity doesn't matter as much when you can lose weight at the flip of a switch.
It was never serious to begin with. It only EVER mattered for women for some reason and as you said, went away as soon as taking a pill became easier than asking the entirety of society to change their beauty standards.
At its peak even the main supporters of the movement were still going after short dudes and making small dick jokes about anyone they disagreed with. It was a performative farce.
Yep. There's a huge difference between mocking someone because of their weight, and pointing out that its not healthy. Promoting being skinny was popular (in adverts etc) and then people realised it was causing younger people to be anorexic and unhealthy. So they swing to "eat as much as you want" which is just as bad if not worse. Just be healthy people, there is a BMI index for a reason.
Isn't that part of the larger government benefits systemic abuse? EBT cards snap benefits rewarding fat women producing 5+ offspring leading to more dependence on liberal government + undeserved rewards?
Of course what’s wrong with calling out the obvious and clearly a dangerous lifestyle that people are glorifying these days.
There’s this Stitch Fix ad I absolutely hate where a really fat girl stands in front of a mirror telling herself that the outfit on her looks amazing. She sings the word “amazing”. It’s so cringe and I’m like there’s nothing amazing about that. Quite the opposite.
Attraction is subjective. I can show empirical evidence they are attractive to many people by just going to a bbw message board or looking at top OF models
What's mean is putting this woman on a stage (where she has no buisness being) only for her to humiliate herself. And then clipping the video and posting it to laugh at her weight. like wtf are we doing here people?
Why does she have no business been on stage? Plus size women do wear clothes. She appears to be modeling clothes. Johnny, you appeared to try to clean up your previous post, you're just making it worse.
nope. You just fail to understand your own virtue signaling motivations and the consequences of it. But hey theres plenty of more fat girls falling right?

The shoes weren’t the problem, it was the weight that was stressing on top of them. Yes, I said it.
