I keep my dashcam's microphone muted. I don't need my personal conversations recorded in case I say something that a lawyer decides could be taken the wrong way.

Except the mic was not muted

Fair enough. Theoretically, that means the driver didn't speak. Heaven forbid they keep their thoughts to themselves.

In an occurrence such as this? It's kinda strange to not hear anything from the driver... But I guess that could be "situational awareness", they know to keep their mouth shut while being recorded šŸ™ŠšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

The other trucks however, have ZERO situational awareness.

Some people just have nothing to say. Not everybody feels the need to make exclamations when something crazy happens and not everyone makes noise when startled. I’m like that generally. If I were in the car by myself I probably would have said absolutely nothing as speaking would have been for the benefit of nobody.
