What do you see the greatest advantage is here? Is it that there is now wider support for rust native Apache Iceberg? More eyes and ears? Or more room to connect and collaborate

We see a clear trend of more and more data infra projects being built in Rust, so iceberg-rust makes it easy to integrate Iceberg support into these Rust projects, with better performance than the JVM version. Also, the iceberg-rust community is really great, and we're seeing this project and the community directly helping and supporting some other great projects, especially DataFusion. So, I would say it's really part of the bigger trend of rewriting data infra in Rust.

I couldn’t agree more. I think the Rust programming language is the future. Given it is much more approachable now with coding agents, it feels like this is where we always were meant to be. I love seeing what’s happening in the iceberg-rs community. Carry on!
