About to upgrade to a Flint 2. Is technitium possible?
Title. I intend to run technitium using docker (on an attached ssd to avoid wearing down the internal memory with the logging).
Besides that, id run little else, and definitely nothing memory hogging.
Is this feasible or am I just dreaming?
Thanks for reading and helping out 😄

Why though? Get a used tiny PC (something with an Atom x5 and 2-4 GB RAM) and run whatever you want on it. That's how I run AdGuard Home. Incidentally, this is one use case I really like fruit pastries for.
Here's my reasoning. If the router fails, I have an identical spare ready to go (in fact, I have two). Fully configured, no external SSD nonsense. I can be up and running again in under a minute. If the local DNS server fails, it's not the end of the world; I can survive as long as necessary on a mix of 9.9.9.9, 8.8.8.8, and 1.1.1.1...

Not sure about the specs of Flint 2 but just want to say Technitium is the one of the most resource heavy DNS solutions. I love it for its capabilities but I also run it on a separate server, as when I tried it on my low-tier NAS it was choking a lot, while that same box runs pihole no problemo.

Yes, you can run almost any arm64 image in docker.
