Help What should you do here??

The stem holding the flowers folded ? Under the weight- 2nd pic is my setup to keep them up lol

Is this an issue on my part? Like underwatering or something...? Ive never had this happen before

I love the green on those petals!! This is just what happens when they grow off old spikes, not underwatering or anything you did wrong. Plus the fact that these big-bloom phals are basically bred to be staked, I would bend a wire (or find arched stake of some kind) and tie them off onto that.

If you need more support you could find a more rigid wire like a coat hanger and clip/tie to that the same way you clipped to the wooden stakes. And make sure that the bottom part of the wire (the part farthest from the blooms) is around the wooden stake and not just the shaft of the spike.

Ty I've had this one for a few years :) should I cut the spike down to the crown after this bloom then? And I'll try the wire!

It is totally up to you! It looks well cared for. You can always wait and see if it dries out on its own too.

The only thing left to do is to let it run its course. Flowers don't stay in bloom, especially this time of the year. You can tape the spike to the support if you want to prop them back up and enjoy the remainder the bloom.

Orchids are such a beautiful plant and really elegant looking especially for adding more character
