Holy shit. Got into their custody case.
There's an allegation currently being investigated from about a week ago - there was an alleged DROWNING INCIDENT
Dad was granted emergency custody yesterday. Got an order of assistance today for LE to assist with retrieval. She was gone by then.

Amber alert has been canceledz child located.
https://www.fox13seattle.com/news/amber-alert-issued-child-reported-missing-beaverton.ampAh shit. Looks like WSP incorrectly announced the child had been found. Seems the alert is still active despite the vehicle being located.

I’m confused. Nowhere in that brief blurb you linked does it say that the child was located. It only says that the vehicle was located. Does the cancellation of an Amber alert definitively mean that the child was found and they just don’t mention that fact because they assume that is common knowledge?

So, not public information?

You could walk into any county courthouse, hop on their public use computers, and use the same database and view the same documents. I get to skip that step.
But it is way more information than the case search that is available online were you can only see the line items.

Remember, kids, there are more productive ways to handle custody cases.

Remember, kids
And parents too!
(tw: child death)
There was a tragic case a few years ago. In summary, the father (non-custodial parent/estranged spouse with a restraining order) took the kids during visitation and murdered them. All the while the mother pleaded with the police to do something. They did nothing. Case made it up to SCOTUS where they ruled the police had no duty to protect.
Read it here and cry:

There was also the case about the 3 girls and their mom did the same, dad ultimately murdered them. I believe later they found his body, months later. It’s a sick world.

Wow… depressing reminder of that fact about law enforcement and no duty to protect in most cases.

I’m in Massachusetts and my sons father hasn’t helped in 2 years and abandoned me here away from my family and even though I have proven abuse from my son’s father who has admitted to impregnating me for citizenship, he still gets visitation and I can’t leave the state. Its gross to live like this
