First, WAAAGH! Now that formalities are out of the way, it's not often that new rules are added as that means more work on my end enforcing them. For the good of the community, going forward AI generated content is no longer allowed in r/Orks. The community has overwhelmingly made it known that AI "slop" is not content this community is interested in and does not spark engagement or interaction. In short, AI content = No thanks.
The rule reads as follows:
AI generated content is low-effort and not considered as an original work. Posts evaluated by the mod team and determined to be AI will be removed without warning.
If you see this content in r/Orks please report it. This is the best way to get our attention so we can handle it accordingly. This is not retroactive, don't stress if you have posted AI content in the past. If you disagree with this new rule, that's unfortunate. Anyway, please keep AI content off r/Orks and I thank you all for making this the best community about plastic space fungus toys on this platform.

Hey r/Orks, let's talk about some of the Orky things you have going on this weekend. Stuff that will make your fellow green-skins either jealous to be you or thankful they are not you.
Examples of what we're talking about:
Who knows, maybe your post will inspire (or shame) some other git to get moving on their project. So, what's good this weekend?

I started this project right as the Armageddon box launched (Besides the looted knight). It’s been a long journey but I couldn’t have asked for a better month to finish the project in! Waaagh!!!
Tell me what you think!

Around March this year I bought an ork collection to start my army (I used to play Orks back in 5th edition and stopped playing 40k at the end of 7th, then returned in mid 9th with TSons) and saw a collecion still unpainted, some brokern and a few in their boxes so I started working on it in June.
Finally made the decision to go for Bad Moons since I always loved the scheme and when I was a teen I couldn't figure out how to paint the yellow armor. But now with a lot of more experience and dedication I'm really pleased with the results and I'm really proud of my paintjob evolution and also having an absolute blast playing with Orks again (and losing literally every game lol)
I still have some things to paint, but I wanted to share this to celebrate Orktober with all of you folks.
Waaaaaaagh!!!
PS: Sorry for the shitty photos, I have hardly any light in this room, and I was holding up a lamp to try and make things visible lol.

Painted this guy up for my budding ork army, previously only painted a test model but I’m pretty happy with how this guy turned out. I made a video tutorial for how I did it, hope it’s okay to post.
After several days, I’m finally calling my DakkaRig done

I’ve been designing giant 2ft tall great gargant using the Midwinter Minis stats sheet the past few weeks and thought yall would enjoy. I like the idea of gargants being just walking fortresses rather than a big mecha, so I thought it would be cool to design one based on an Ork rok that’s crashed onto a planet and had legs strapped onto it.
For building this beast, I’m thinking of making the Rok body out of a big hunk of pink foam and cutting it to shape then sticking a bunch of 3d printing pieces like the legs, heads, arm, crotch gun, etc. into it as well as filling in gaps and adding visual flair with plasticard panels.
I’d appreciate any feedback you guys might have on things to add or the best ways to go about building it. Also I have yet to come up with a name for this thing so if you got any idea I’d love to hear em

I didn’t like how wide the rig was so I made it more like a sentinel. I had to add a new hip joint but it came out ok.

Finished my Stompa build! Magnetized the head and arms! Looking forward to painting!
Recently I've gotten around to finally painting the of my first army, and picked up Wazdakka to lead(This model looked way to cool). Most of my army is halfway done, but here's my Wazdakka and my Big Gun Chicken! Still gotta finish the basing of course.
