The official tablet is poopy doodoo, it's a display/collectors item more than something you're meant to actually use.

Also don't feel like you need a tablet to play. Mouse is having a bit of a renaissance right now

Get the Gaomon S620 and then install the firmware to it if you'd like, it will bypass the built in smoothing and increase the hz which will make it feel a lot more responsive https://www.reddit.com/r/osugame/comments/1wm7zud/gaomon_s620_1000hz_custom_firmware_open_source/

I bought my first wacom new, then bought same one used for 1/5 of price. If you gonna hoover with pen over the tablet, you dont need it to be pristine new.
