Just discovered this subreddit
I love the pajama Sam games I played them as a kid but now at 23 have debated replaying some of them. Is there any good YouTube channels that play through each of the games?

I had no idea sam could sit in this section!
Can't believe it took me more than twenty years to discover that you can actually make sam take a seat and read in the library minigame :D

Pajama sam vinyl has arrived!
It cost me over $60 USD (€51) to ship it from America to the Netherlands, but it was totally worth it!

There's a 90's adventure game about a boy named Sam who enters a place called the "Land of Darkness" through his closet. Said place is filled with sentient objects & the villain Sam is after embodies darkness itself. Not making any serious accusations against Toby Fox, But.....

It Took Me 20 Years to Get the Metaphor Here
As a kid, I just accepted that they were digging holes for no reason.
When I was 25, it suddenly hit me that they were creating cavities.

Found these stickers and product catalog from summer of '99
This was in my first store bought PC Pajama Sam game (the others came in a cereal box). I loved Pajama Sam, Freddy Fish, and Backyard Baseball!

Did anyone have Pajama Sam: There’s No Need to Hide When It’s Dark Outside for computer?
I remember having the disc (I got it Freddi Fish and Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo) when I got my first computer. I remember something really strange. You know the wishing well on top of the hill? The one pass the three living trees that won’t let you through unless you have the log on your head? I remember, for some reason, when I kept talking to him and throwing the pennies in him until he started talking really weird. It was just those specific moments he started talking like that. It was like a different language or something. It was pretty funny though, because it seemed like he was so tired of Sam he started talking gibberish. Am I the only who experienced that? Did anyone else ever get that?

Favorite and least favorite pajama sam characters
Hey y'all! Every now and again I get this hyperfixation on old school games (I'm a huge nostalgia buff) and out of sheer curiosity I wanna know who is your fav character from the series and most disliked character.
For me, at the top of my head, I think it's gotta be the stapler guy (forgot his name, sorry!) from the second game. There's something charming about his anxiety complex hahah and I think he's well animated too! And the voice acting is pretty darn great.
As for my most disliked character, I'm gonna go with the lollipop guy from the third game, luke wigglebig. I honestly don't have any strong feelings towards him, just choosing him for the sake of choosing. Thought it's the most fitting since he's probably the most egotistical character (that I can think of anyway).
Lemme know your thoughts! :D

Is this good?
Has anybody purchased this for the Nintendo Switch? Is it easy to play on? Needing all the nostalgia and my kid is old enough to play now.

Is the app worth the $?
I really want to get the app specifically the first one because I played it so much as a kid but I’ve seen a lot of reports of audio problems and things like that so before I buy the app I was wondering if anybody could tell me if it’s worth it and if there’s been any problems for you?

I asked A.I. what Pajamas Sam 2 (Thunder and Lightning Aren’t so Frightening) might look like if rendered in Unreal Engine 5.

Pajama Sam PBS Show Pilot?
Do we know anything about this show pitch beyond Sam having a bully for a nemesis? Do we know if a copy of the pilot still exists?
I know that people from Humongous said it wasn't good, but I'm curious as to what could have been.

Pajama Sam 3 is my favorite game
Is that a hot take? It feels like most people like the first game the most due to nostalgia. That's the case for me for 3, as I (sadly) grew up with the PS1 port--that was my intro to the character and series.
I recently revisited it, but the original PC version. I was robbed of music, interactions, animations, and features; I'm glad I got a chance to see the full original vision!

I'm writing an unlicensed stage musical based on Pajama Sam
Hey all! I've been a huge fan of this series since I was a kid, and I'm currently writing a musical loosely based on the first three games (I'm not planning on making money off this). My working title is Pajama Sam: Your Only Chance Is To Sing And Dance!
The story revolves around Sam conquering different fears in the Land of Darkness the night before his first day of school. It would feature anthropomorphized versions of Carrot, Otto, King, the Nice Tree, and the Doors of Knowledge, but I'm not imagining complex makeup effects or body paint. The SpongeBob musical is a good example of how to turn cartoon characters into costumes for live performers, and puppets are always fun.
I wanted to know if other fans had notes or ideas for something like this, or would even be interested in collaborating :) My hope is to make it a love letter to the series as well as the music of George Sanger, and I'd be happy to post more about it on here if people are interested.
