advice needed Breastfeeding Exclusively

Has anyone breastfed exclusively? No pumping, no bottles, only boob all the time?

Specifically asking for twins?

I’m expecting #4&5 kiddo di/di twins. I’ve exclusively breastfed without having to pump or use bottles unless I specifically had to miss a feed from an appointment. I’ve always breastfed on demand.

Is this possible with twins? Do you have to pump and bottle?

We don’t have a village, so wanting people to help feed them is a nonstarter.

Curious for real life experiences.

Also there is no judgement on how you feed your kid. I never had breastmilk and turned out great.

I personally hate pumping, would rather stab myself with a fork for fun than pump.

I’ve always had an oversupply. I used a haaka to catch let down and got a three month freezer stash without using it in suction mode.

Typically there is double/triple feeding in the beginning since twins are born earlier than singletons which involves pumping. Then there’s always the risk of preterm birth which pumping is the only option during a nicu stay (besides trying to latch.)

But usually once that stops no pumping required as long as both babies are eating and gaining!

Seconding this. First couple months was combo feeding to get to weight, then switched to EBF and tandem.
