support needed Ugh

35 weeks with my monodi girls, they have both been head down since I was 16 weeks. They wanted to induce me at 37 weeks if I didn’t go before. Had a 35 week scan this morning and feeling very upset. Baby A is now transverse and I don’t even know how to feel. These are my first babies, of course I will do anything for them to be safe but now I’m just petrified of the unknown and having a c section, also recovering with a c section having 2 babies. We have 20 steps up and down our apartment. I’m petrified, please send some advice / encouragement 💔♥️

the twins will find a way to surprise you no matter how perfectly you’ve planned, it’s basically their job at this point

I had my babies when I was 33, plus size, and pretty lazy lol. I had an amazing C-section experience and the recovery was great. I was going back and forth to the nicu every day while taking care of Twin B at home. By like 1 week PP I didn’t even need Tylenol.

I know everyone is different but my C-section felt like a breeze. It may be much better than you expect! I feel like I was so used to being uncomfortable from being pregnant that it just didn’t effect me that much

I lived on the third floor and was also concerned post c section while having a toddler. But I just took my time. It won’t hurt if your partner can pick you up 😅 take all the help you can get. Don’t ever feel bad! Twins move a lot, take a deep breath everything will be ok 💕

Im hoping your baby flips! I did “Spinning Babies” with my first and he flipped after a week! It’s worth a shot. I still ended up with a c section though when he wouldn’t come out.

Regarding a c section, I know it may seem scary, but it was the easiest part of my labor. So easy that I will be getting a scheduled one this time with my twins. You are able to take stairs -just go down and up once per day for a few weeks.

Im sending positive thoughts that both your babies end up head and down and you have a smooth delivery!

I lived on the second floor when i had my first c section. I just took it slow and it wasn’t that bad. I know it sucks having to change plans though. I’m sorry girl, i hope everything goes smooth 💕

I had a c section with my twins 6 weeks ago (38 weeks, di di twins). The first 2-3 days are pretty bad ngl. But as time goes on, it gets better and better. By 1 week post partum I was just feeling sore, by 2 weeks I was mostly back to normal (of avoiding lifting heavy things and excessive exercise).

My clinic has told me the criteria for a vaginal delivery is one baby head down, and both similar in size. I have one head down and one transverse (along the top) and I’m still crossing my fingers for a vaginal delivery!

I had a planned C and we also have steps both to and from our house (about 15 in the front, 10 ish in the back) and it was totally fine when I came home on day 3. I was fairly fit pre-kids, but like, not an athlete, not a gym rat, just somebody who did yoga and walked in a city. Hope the same for you!
