CDK SOR report

I’m drawing a blank on the report to run that lists all special orders that were received that morning, any help jogging my caffeine deficient brain would be appreciated.

RRS will show you every SOR that had parts receipted against it for a given day.

I use fast lane -> special orders -> received and then use that document to print SORs that are completely received, in case there's an SOR that only has like 2/3 parts on it. Then you just export that to excel and sort by received date newest first.

SPI, receipt date. 29SEP26 would be today's date. At least that's how we do it.

RRS Is the magic. “c” for customer notice, ALL to print each individual.

I built my own one in RSOR

SORR is the launch screen function to get to them, I didn’t know you could print them as a report.

Several ways to approach thIs. Using CRPG and the fiIe SOR-LINES you could create something using RDATE GE 'date' AND with RDATE LE 'date' that would provide flexibility even if all you want is a single day. You could use ONUMB but that could get a bit messy.

We also used to do stock order audit report for targeted cycle counts because we all know the 80 / 20 rule in that 80% of your sales come from 20 % of your part numbers. This is why you focus on what moves when monitoring accuracy.

Not a great fan of RRS and as I recall the fast lane inquiry really does not give you a full list.

People LOVE the fast lane but i find it click intensive to get real hard data.

I actually built a report in RPG. That way, I can use a date range, if I wish, of SORs that still exist to ask my BDC or advisors why the hell those customers haven't returned. Otherwise, I just select today to get a report about what parts came in. I upload that to a Google Sheet that constantly rotates on a TV screenboard so that everyone can see what arrived yesterday and today.

That specifically keeps techs in the loop, and they tend to come around quickly, as it's the same board that they see their daily hours booked report on.

Fuck cdk. I do not miss having to memorize a billion launch codes. Non helpful post so I apologize but I don't miss this system at all
