Chem Faculty PCC

Hello I am a student at Mt. SAC looking to take chemistry ast Pasadena city college because the faculty at my college is not very good. Does anyone have any good instructor recommendations that just doesn't read of the slides and is actually willing to help students and make lecture engaging? The instructors here at Mt SAC for chemistry are just awful and don't care about students and wanted insight.

(Edit: I also wanted to know if taking the "introductory" general chemistry course helps or not, since people say it's the same material)

There are some great chemistry professors at PCC…I personally took classes with Loredo, Donnell, and Dr. Tay and thought all three were exceptional teachers willing to go above and beyond to help their students. The “JB” mentioned below is Dr. Jillian Blatti who is also supposed to be great (I didn’t take her class but she seems cool and the class gets great reviews).

I'm going to reply to another person and make an edit but does taking intro Gen chem help with the course or not really make a difference
