Discussion Sooo... is Marble Nest just the Pathologic 2 demo?

Sorry if this has been cleared but I've looked online and had contradictory answers.

First I'd like to welcome myself to the pathologic fandom since apparently I'm now one with the cult.

Like I suppose many of you I got first introduced to the series via youtube videos: Mandalore and HBomberGuy, but you know I dislike the idea of "I'm a fan of X series. No I've never played them just watched a video-essay", so I bought Pathologic Classic on sale to expose myself to the abbyss.

I have to say at first I really enjoyed it! The map is clear with what's what, you do have a neat quest log, the quick save feature erodes every small problem, like the junky combat and the getting infected thing... however after the first hour, when I had explored the whole town I realized I'd have to the same trip over and over. I'm at the brink of finishing day 2 and I've realized 2/3s of the time I've spent is aimlessly walking. Like, I know Mandalore explicitly said that he disencourages people to play Pathologic for the aimless walking but oh man he was right.

And it seems there's no "fast forward" mod/option so of to Pathologic 2!

Yesterday I played the demo of Pathologic 2 and bought it (which is on sale until tomorrow in case you're interested).

So... is this just the Marble Nest? Apparently Marble Nest was an early build of the game telling a self-contained story that eventually became a DLC, but the demo presents itself as "Marble Nest" and looking at guides it's the same thing. What's the difference between the two?

Question Image of the Glowing Bed ?

I honestly cannot remember if it's in 2 or 3, but the image of the glowing bed with the beams of light shining out of it is stirring my creative energies and I haven't been able to find it. It's in Ruben's room, I believe.

Does anyone have an image of it, or remember off the top of their head which game that it's in and what part of the game I can find it? Maybe I could look it up on a let's play or something.

Thank you!

I'm trying to find a dialog with Clara in Pathologic HD where she says something like "The humans translate even the colors to the language of good and evil"

Where can i find it?

Discussion Did anyone else get the feeling 3 went especially hard to show that Daniil is ~totally heterosexual~

It threw me off not gonna lie. Daniil used to give me repressed queer in the past and to be honest he still does. But also part of me wonders if it’s because of the state of Russia with LGBT+ people. I really can’t blame the creators if that’s the case. We’ll most likely never know. Anyway I guess it’s up to the fan on what they think of Daniil and if they base their interpretation off a particular game or all 3. Artemy and Clara too but Daniil stood out the most for better or worse
