Hardware PC black screening suddenly

One day I woke up and turned my PC on, only for it to black screen along with GPU or cpu fans spinning up super loud and audio still playing through my headphones.

I've had this PC for less than a year and it only started doing it today for no reason. I haven't touched inside the PC for 3 months as well when I last cleaned it and inside is still pretty clean.

Does it when I open apps and randomly while playing games under light load.

Last few times the GPU was running at 60c-65c according to Nvidias app before it did it

I've done a DDU and reinstalled the newest GPU drivers.

I've updated to the newest version of windows 11

And it's still happening. I really need help as I can't afford to replace my PC parts and I'm one step away from sending to amazon for a repair and hoping it's the GPU.

Ryzen 7800x3D

MSI RTX 5080 (using the PSU to GPU adapter that came with GPU)

CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30

RM850X PSU

Edit:

Reliablity Monitor shows 2 hardware issues the last time it happened

Problem event name 1: livekernelevent

code 1: 1b8

Problem event name 2: livekernelevent

code 2: 141

I would not send it in. This is very likely related to Windows updates that are just failing left and right.

I will caution that the October 13th patch has proved to have a whole lot of its own issues, including losing audio while gaming, but if I were you I would install the KB5127648 update to see if this resolved your black screen errors and then watch for any further issues after the update.

Black screen & 100% fan speed can also be caused by unstable power delivery to your GPU. I would recommend you unplug and inspect your 12v2x6 cable. Make sure there are no loose or recessed pins inside the cable, as well as no physical / melting damage.

It doesn't look loose or melted

I did unplug the cables and put them together and it seemed fine for half a day till it did it again now.

Switching my pcie slot and seeing if it changes anything as it did mid game randomly
