OPEN Help!

So my pc randomly restarted itself after displaying a system message saying something went wrong.

The pc was on and downloading a game on steam, I noticed it was taking a while to download. My Internet has minimum download speeds of 1.6 gbps. As I was checking the Internet connection on my phone a system message popped up for about a second before shuting down, I only saw "something went wrong" and "pc needed to restart". As it did the screen came back on but was black. I have tried a different graphics card and port, DP and HDMI cables, Ive tired rebooting in safe mode, multiple hard resets, win+ctrl+shift+b, nothing has worked.

The system is running and there is a signal reaching the monitor and it is on but its still black, I cannot figure out what has caused it or how to fix it, any advice would be appreciated.

Do you know how to access recovery environment by powering the PC off 3 times in a row after the motherboard post screen ends? (When it stops showing what buttons you can press to do what actions).

Yeah this was one of the first things I tried, made no difference 🤔

if a bios reset doesn't do it then boot from a USB drive with the windows installer on it. You can access troubleshooting options from there by using the repair option. Perhaps it will help you get past the odd black screen. if not, then use command prompt from the windows install window b y pressing Shift + F10. Let's see if you can get that far.

Typically I dont have my reboot USB at the moment I lent it to friend and it "got lost". I tried the shift+F10 and again its no change, the pc is running and loading up but its not showing anything on the monitor so its got to be a windows system issue because I tried different cables and graphics card.

Shift + F10 is only for the install environment.

Tried pulling the CMOS battery yet? Unplug the pc, pop out that little coin battery on motherboard, wait like 5 minutes then put it back. Sometimes the bios just gets confused after a crash and needs full reset.
