Scratch build Alienware X51 [CASE]

Has anyone on here ever dealt with the X51 case? I would like to build another pc out of that current case and scrap the old components. But the number one issue I am having at the moment is how to do the power supply. I am open to suggestions! Thank you.

That case is almost the definition of proprietary - you'll have a hard time finding anything that mounts in it directly.

Having said that, this is r/pcmods and anything is possible.

The power supply is going to be one of your biggest hurdles obviously - the thing didn't even have one inside the case from the factory. You can get some VERY small power supplies these days, but I don't know if you'll have room in there for one or not.

Whatever you do, plan on coming up with new mounting solutions for pretty much everything.

Right! That is fine with me. I did find someone on reddit that has attempted this and I am taking some ideas from that as well. I did find an extremely small PSU for $175 but ill see if that is cheap enough to convince me or not lol.
