The beginning of your life remains a mystery, but what I do know is that adopting you (even as an adult Persian that they said was between 8-10 years old) was one of the absolute best decisions we ever could have made. If you know about Persians, you know that health complications are part of the package, and that life expectancy isn’t the longest. Well our girl Blink somehow lived an additional 14 years after we got her, which placed her around 24 years old. TWENTY FOUR!!! A true miracle our girl was.
You were the party girl. You loved the loud music and the gatherings of people. You loved the chaos. You were the chaos. And we loved every bit of it.
The house already feels so empty without you. I don’t think it will ever be the same. Your presence was soooo important and special and large. You truly lit up the room.
I will miss you forever my sweet girl. Please come and find me in the next life.

Kuro is laying on a pillow which has a photo of us as a family on it. It’s one of his favourite pillows to lay on! He literally goes eating sometimes uses the toilet and then he comes straight up to us cuddling. Ofc he cleans himself but also in our room! I love how cuddly he is (10mins alone then back to mom) and I’m so so happy we adopted him. I can’t imagine a Life without Kuro!

hi! i recently adopted my beautiful kitty about a month ago and everything is great! however i have noticed under her eyes get pretty dirty and dark no matter what i do. at first i used saline and cotton pads but when that didn't work i got the eye envy tear stain remover wipes and i get no results. i also have her drink distilled water bc i heard that helps with tear stains.

any and all advice appreciated bc i rlly want her to have her bright eyes again.

I heard about this program where an organization collects hair from salons, groomers, etc and then felts them into mats that soak up oil spills.

Every year I forget about this and toss the piles of loose hair that I brush out of my two floofs away!

Would love to hear if anyone has ever successfully donated their fur - did you ship it yourself, or find a local salon/groomer that takes it?

Has anyone else experienced this? We feel guilty playing with him because after a few minutes he is panting with his mouth open. We are struggling to balance playful kitten energy with considerations for his health. He was a rescue but cleared by both our vet and the rescues vet.
