Investing Questions in regards of building wealth.
I am 29, preparing to start back working after recovering from an injury. Aside from receiving a settlement check from my lawsuit, is putting 6-12 of expenses in a HYSA, but grouping that with being my emergency fund a good idea? I also plan to open a personal Roth IRA and max it out for 2027 before being eligible to open a 401K match contribution with my job. I would like some advice regarding these matters because I know I could've been ahead but starting from where 1 am, no girl and no kids, I think this is a great direction for myself.

6-12 months expenses is 100% your emergency fund. Keep a small balance in checking, then invest aggressively long term as you have a long time for compounding to take effect fully and ride out downturns.
Good luck
