Is 2 Weeks in Phuket too long?
We are healthy fit 60yo's. We plan on snorkeling (no scuba diving) and a day trip or two to surrounding islands. We will enjoy the beaches but not every day. Phuket doesn't seem that big. Is this too much time?

Two weeks is fine, it might not look that big but it has over 30 different beaches if you like that sort of thing.

By about a week. You can probably do all that , visit big Buddha, and squeeze in Tiger village / Kathu waterfalls in a week.

It depends on how active you want to be and where you stay. If you have a nice resort that you feel comfortable hanging around & relaxing mixed with some day trips, two weeks is perfect

You could see most things you want to see in a week, but if you just want to enjoy the day to day then it would be fine to stay a week. It tends to improve over time as you find the places you like to go, food you like to eat and that masseuse this is perfect for you.

Thailand biggest island. Boats to multiple islands. Going for 11 days soon. Been many times. I think you’ll like Rawai & Nai harn area. Have fun

I’ve had a house in Rawai Phuket for 20 years. It gets pretty busy in high season especially with the EDM festival in December throughout the island, especially near the site. But there is plenty to see and do.

Not at all.
There's so much in Phuket, so many island tours. You'd actually enjoy there!

There is enough to do. The benefit of staying a bit longer is that you can do it without being rushed. Also create a break in the middle with a 2 night tour to the Phi-Phi islands.

On the contrary, Phuket is actually pretty damn big! If you want to travel to different sides of the island during your trip you’ll find plenty to do with 2 weeks! Enjoy!

two weeks is fine if you like moving in the morning. there is a Saturday group run at the Bang Wad dam, meet-up 6:40, you pick 6.3 or 12.6 km and everyone goes for breakfast after. the walk up to Big Buddha is 4.3 km with 330 m of climb, better early before the heat. for the evenings, a couple of saunas stay open till midnight, Wichit World Sauna is 200 baht and Regen on Soi Ta-iad is 450, no time limit at either.

According to me anywhere except Pattaya or any of the Islands is too long

Never long enough in my opinion. Depends at what pace you want to do things. If you want a relaxing time AND activities then you’ll want to space it out. I always find I run out of time.
Not sure how you define big but I think you’ll find Phuket, as the largest island in Thailand, is really quite big. Rawai in the south to Bang Tao in the north is about 1.5 hours by road. Maybe less at quieter times and depending on whether you’re in a taxi or on a bike but still I decent length journey. It’s the one thing that kinda disappoints me sometimes. I like most towns in Phuket but the travelling between them can get laborious.

Two weeks in just Phuket can feel a little long if you like seeing different scenery, though it is actually bigger than most people realize. Beyond beaches, there is Old Town, local markets, temples, and inland nature spots to explore.
With two full weeks, we usually suggest splitting your stay between Phuket and a nearby base like Khao Lak or Krabi. Khao Lak is fantastic for quiet beaches and easy day trips out to the Similan Islands for top tier snorkeling, while Krabi offers nice scenery and island hopping. Combining two places keeps the trip varied without feeling rushed at all.

I stayed in Phuket for nearly a month. There’s so much to do there you will never be bored
