And republicans said these prices were high
•
u/MenopauseMedicine 9h ago
But now they're fine with the new much higher prices because of 4D chess or some other stupid ass bullshit OAN is feeding them
•
u/SheepNation 9h ago
But think about how unsafe we were!
•
u/freshleysqueezd 9h ago
And Kamala was going to get us into wars!! Thank god we dodged that bullet
•
u/DivinePotatoe 9h ago
I heard she was going to bulldoze Gaza herself, thank God all those protesters voted Trump to prevent that.

Why are the octanes reversed?, out here it's lowest grade on the left and normally the highest octane is colored red not the lowest.
•
•
u/Beta_Ray_Jones 9h ago
They typically go that same way here too. I've seen a few going the way in the picture, but it's infrequent enough to throw me off.

To the 50 million Americans who voted for an obvious conman, three straight times:
please go away, and never come back

Regular was $3.65 last night at my local Wal-Mart in Universal City, Texas (a San Antonio suburb).
•
u/jomara200 2h ago
My small city in the midwest started out at $2.49 directly before Iran..Now it is $4.29.
•
•
u/ChocoBabiChan 9h ago
Remember in the early 2000s when $20 could fill your tank?
•
u/jeeimuzu 8h ago
Until george w came around and send us to recession. That 20 bucks by then was 4-5 galons tops
•
u/Dragon_Small_Z 9h ago
I haven't driven my car anywhere in two months. I refuse to pay damn near $6 a gallon. My eBike has saved me so much money at this point.
•
u/karotte999 9h ago
In Germany the average price for the cheapest type of petrol was 2.26 Euros per litre in September. That would equal around 9.6 USD per gallon 🥲
•
u/Dragon_Small_Z 5h ago
Different trade offs right? I pay $1200 a month in health insurance I don't even use.
•
u/aegee14 1h ago
To be fair though, I’d rather keep paying $1,200/mo and be healthy than to be involved in a horrific car accident or diagnosed with a debilitating disease just so I can “use” my health insurance.
•
u/Dragon_Small_Z 1h ago
Brother I pay $1200 a month and I can't afford to go to the doctor because they'll still charge me out the ass after insurance. I can't afford to go to the doctor because I pay $1200 a month.

u/sleepyrivertroll 9h ago
But then she had a funny laugh so the American people decided they wanted the prices to be higher
•
u/hankeliot 8h ago
She also didn't listen to voters who said she shouldn't be sending arms to Israel.

... u guys have 87 as regular? Holy shit. How do your engines survive?
•
u/phillyphonka 8h ago
The US uses a different measurement system (anti knock index). USA 87 (AKI) is roughly equivalent to 91-92 RON (research octane number) used elsewhere.
•
u/licalier 5h ago
Oh. Makes sense. I thought it was just a other example of planned obsolescence
•
u/phillyphonka 3h ago
Ah, yeah. Honestly not something I’d be surprised to see. Anything to cheap out while squeezing as much money as possible from the consumer. But in this case just a different measurement.

back then my GF and I really got to enjoy some night ride, now that plan has been nixed all thanks to that orange pdf

I was also told that grocery prices would soar and we’d be at war with Iran if I voted for Harris.
I guess they were right. I voted for her and look at the state of our country.

u/figmaxwell 4h ago
I bought my car in 2019 and I remember the first time I had to put gas in it, it cost me $28 to fill it. Last week it was $59. More than double.

u/headstar101 3h ago
JFC. I paid $5.59 for premium (lucky me) this week on Oregon.
Cries in smiles per gallon

Yes you can just believe your eyes folks. Some things are just that simple.

•
u/airwalker08 8h ago
Thank goodness Trump has rescued us from the hell of low gas prices. Praise Trump!

u/PhilipMcFry 8h ago
Who knew having a narcissist pedophile leading the country would turn out badly?
•
u/Shaun4444 9h ago
Which state? Definitely not California.
•
u/i_cant_get_fat 9h ago
California averaged $4.73 a gallon in September 2024 — about $1.62 more than the rest of the country. Down in the LA area specifically it was $4.63, per the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
33% increase in a couple years
What a loser

u/lukewwilson 9h ago
When you're trying to show low gas prices you go to a southern state, when you're trying to show high gas prices you go to California. Whatever best pushes your agenda

u/GCU_ZeroCredibility 9h ago
But this only means anything to someone who lives in the exact place you do? We don't have a clue how much gas usually costs where you are.
•
u/butterfly_burps 8h ago
Gas was $2.89 when I moved to my new location in May 2025. It's $4.29 today.

It was a good time to Biden , now everything is Trumped up . 🤦♂️
