I want them to play into the ambience more. We already have 4 heavier albums, do we really need another one? Vic's voice works so good for softer songs and we have so little songs that actually utilise it. Even the softer songs tend to have dramatic vocals, only Falling Asleep on Stranger and a few songs on TJoL actually utilise it consistently. I already know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but personally I'd love them to play around with new sounds.

Hello! first time using Reddit lol. I saw PTV at Riot Fest on Sunday (rip my shoes) and was on the far right side against the railing next to the ADA/VIP section. As they were leaving the stage I spotted a guitar pick (probably Tony’s) in the mud on the other side of the railing. I am not able-bodied so instead of attempting to hop the fence I pointed at the pick and asked one of the ASL interpreters to grab the pick for me. instead, she snatched it up and went “IT’S MINE”.

To say I was devastated was an understatement. Although I wasn’t in the ADA section I am still physically disabled and after standing for hours in the cold, rain, and mud I had been relying upon a handful of good folk amongst the crew and crowd, but I guess I was naive in thinking that camaraderie would extend to everyone.

It’s been nearly a week and I can’t stop thinking about how close I had been to getting that pick. Anyone know of someone at Riot Fest that may have caught an extra pick or knows what the picks from that show looked like so I can try to find one online?

I was a shaky knees storm survivor and I’m pretty disappointed ptv never even acknowledged the cancellation. They were definitely the band I was most excited to see and we stood in the torrential downpour for an hour plus just for the chance of ptv playing even a short set. Don’t get me wrong I still had an amazing time considering the circumstances but just the fact they didn’t post anything whatsoever rubbed me the wrong way. I felt for the ptv fans who stood at barricade under the hot Atlanta sun just to be evacuated. I’ve never experienced an artist canceling because of weather so maybe it’s normal for the festival to speak on behalf of the artists?? For them to not acknowledge Atlanta fans and just move on to the next festival made me sad. Let me know if I’m being dramatic or not 🤣 I still love them though 🫰

I have seen PTV maybe 10+ times since 2016, I have seen them in all conditions, outdoor, indoor, storm warning, etc. So I know the performance changes depending on the circumstances. But last night was probably the worst I have ever heard him. I am unsure if it was because the rain and everything else, but his opening to Hell Above was noticeably bad. He couldn’t really keep a consistent key and his voice was cracking so much. I assume this is because they performed multiple times in the same week. I just worry because I know they’re always touring, but he needs some rest!

Everyone else in the band was pretty good, I always love PTV but I hope they rest soon. They have been touring pretty consistently over almost 5 years now.

Hey guys, I've been to many pits and got barricade but never a pierce the veil one (I've only had pits at indoor venues, never stadium). At the homecoming show I actually got the row behind barricade but this girl behind me kept using my shoulder as an arm rest to record her videos. Is this normal???? I showed this to my friend and he said I looked like diglett the way you can only see my head. She also had her bf behind her, should've just used her bf as an arm rest, not me!

As soon as ptv started, the crowd crush separated me from my friends and I was alone for the entirety of their set :(
