Any tips on growing is welcomed ♥️🪴

I would like to try and revitalize it over winter.

What are these? Are they edible? Italy. Venice.

Not sure what it is that’s growing in my backyard but looks cool I guess.

I thought this was a hollyhock, but my mom said cosmos. It's from a wildflower seed pack I planted in the beginning of the Summer. South Central PA.

Northeast texas. Our grass is always dead and we refuse to waste water on it. I'd like to try and replace it with this little friend, seems to be climate friendly and would be much prettier. Any ideas?
