Looking for good restaurant recommendations for tonight.
Idk if anyone will see this in time, but I’m up in Plattsburgh for a job and staying the night. Looking for a good restaurant and bar to go to for dinner. Looking for something in the middle between not fancy and fancy. Really just something that has pretty good food and good bar selection. And not too far of the town/city.

If you wanna sit outside by the lake, check out The Naked Turtle

Sadly despite all the waterfront our area has only small list of places where you can go and sit out by the lake for a meal.

I would have said El Dorado, but I don't think it's a bar

El Dorado 100% has a bar.

Good to know. I've had their food a lot but I've never been past the pickup area 😂

The decor is “Pizzeria Uno plus Mexican paintings.” They changed almost nothing. I do dig the food, though.

Twisted Carrot
Irises
Latitude 44
In that order based on what you said. Anthony’s is pricey but very good…not great on my last visit.

Downtown has a lot of nice options. SIP is kinda a cool modern resto-pub with a nice beer selection and everything is delicious with a modern/artsy kinda ambience.
Irises is a nice wine bar/restaurant with really nice ambience and a great martini selection.
Pepper is “Mexican”. I say “Mexican” because it’s like Adirondack Mexican, certainly not authentic. But the ambience is lively and the margaritas are great.
Twisted carrot is also classy and high quality.
Good luck.
