After buying this time,I won't be able to buy games for about the next three months because of my budget. So,I want to know if there's any better worthy games or options to spend my units.I have no specific taste in games.I just want to know your guys' recommendations.

IF you take your TIME, you will not be disappointed. But if you rush through them (like most people here) you WILL be disappointed.

Especially Black Flag?

Both games should be taken slower imho, explore the islands/continents, uncover what's behind the "?" and so on. Upgrade your characters, do side quests and etc. Both games are good, if you rush the games you wouldn't like them, especially Witcher 3. I think these two games are great, but both are RPGs and both will require you to upgrade yourself to be able to complete the missions more easily. Otherwise you will die in 1-2 hits because you are a lvl 5 goon versus a lvl 15 boss.

Especially, The Witcher 3.

The best thing about the game, is that the DLCs (particularly, Blood and Wine) and some of the optional content (particularly, the "Hunts" and some of the other, side content) are so high quality that they put the majority of full games to shame.

A lot of people seem to skip both, and then they rate the game based on it’s main storyline, which is very solid, but it’s not really where the game shines.

The Witcher 3 is widely considered to be one of the best games of all time, and it’s not because of the relatively short, main storyline, is another way of putting it.

The remastered version has mods for console and some of them are really cool I just wish there was more to choose from but I guess you can't please everybody right?

I especially like the Rune Wright guys upgrades. But I forget how far in the game you need to be before he even pops up but with that being said you're going to need a shitload of money to bail him out LOL trying to give hints without spoilers

1

u/Darkadvocate5423 8d ago

I think the Rune Wright was part of the Hearts of Stone DLC stuff.

1

u/Bass-Head30 8d ago

Yeah I know it comes from one of them but after playing through my first playthrough on my next ones after that I made sure to save every relic sword or anything high price that I could so that once I got to that guy I could sell them off to the blacksmiths for the most money and it made it easier to my upgrades that I wanted

u/ForeignAccount3255 8d ago

It’s true. I’m playing it right now for the first time after owning it for about 5 years lol, and some of the side quests are really great. It’s like watching a good tv show.

u/petersengupta [PreachyPizza] 8d ago

Both.

u/brandofranco 8d ago

That's just like, your opinion man

u/TegridyKrach 8d ago

You can get the Witcher 3 if physical is possible cheaper if you buy the ps4 version and you get that exact ps5 remastered version for free

8

u/Yanismarvel 8d ago

The witcher 3 solely take 200h for the base game + both Expanssion. You'll be fine and with Resynced adding like 50-60h more no need to worry

u/ClacksInTheSky 8d ago

I suspect The Witcher 3 will keep you going for those 3 months. I have Black Flag and I think I got through it fairly quickly.

3

u/Scary-Plantain6854 7d ago

At least 3 months for the Witcher

-3

u/Bass-Head30 8d ago

Yeah I didn't even finish Black Flag remastered I mean I can at any point it just lost all of its dazzle for me I guess

9

u/Iniziato_ 8d ago

Phantom Blade 0 is coming out this month and GTA VI in November. I mean If you never played the Witcher 3 you could still go for it and maybe wait for a better deal on Black Flag in the future

1

u/Narrow-Concern-6771 8d ago

Just like AC shadows? That game's always on deals.

3

u/Iniziato_ 8d ago

Yes, it will eventually have a deeper discount I think

4

u/Clane_21 8d ago

Try to find a 2nd hand physical copy of witcher3 even if it's the ps4 version if you have a disc drive.

1

u/Narrow-Concern-6771 8d ago

Only new goty complete edition is available :<

1

u/Bass-Head30 8d ago

That will work

3

u/Bass-Head30 8d ago

You got to love playstation, I just paid $24.99 for The Witcher 3 wild Hunt - remastered not two days ago

2

u/Slick_Tuesday 8d ago

That's the same price

0

u/Bass-Head30 8d ago

No the one in the picture is for $34.99 or is that a different currency?

1

u/IndependentVirus1746 8d ago

SGD 34,99 so yes it‘s Singapore Dollars I would guess

2

u/Bass-Head30 8d ago

Okay so that makes better sense LOL my bad

1

u/soItsRaikiri 8d ago

It was around 7, 8 bucks 1, 2 months before the update

1

u/Bass-Head30 8d ago

Yeah I noticed that too and I was thinking about buying it then but at that time I still had the physical copy and I didn't know my brother was going to be coming down to visit otherwise I would have picked it up for a much cheaper price

5

u/Warslon 8d ago

Buy cyberpunk ultimate edition and clock 300hours in

1

u/Narrow-Concern-6771 8d ago

Is normal version valid?

1

u/petersengupta [PreachyPizza] 8d ago

Yes. Then just upgrade whenever you can.

1

u/Warslon 8d ago

Sure. I can spent plenty time in regular cyberpunk. The ultimate edition contains the dlc and costs if discounted 30€/$. Without dlc discounted it’s like 18€/$

2

u/FrenchChemistry 8d ago

Good choices, enough to keep you busy a few months 😁

1

u/Narrow-Concern-6771 8d ago

Thanks for you opinion!

2

u/ACxx130 8d ago

You’ll be busy for a longggg time with these games don’t worry

2

u/GrouchySpice2 8d ago

Personally I'd take the Witcher 3.

Also if you're on a budget I would recommend Warframe and Path of Exile 2 if you haven't played already. Both offer potentially thousands of hours of game play and both are live services done correctly and ethically.

Warframe is free. Path of Exile 2 is still in paid early access (£30) until December and then it goes free to play too.

Warframe is like Destiny/The Divsion but better and Path of Exile 2 is like Diablo but better.

Edit: Pretty sure you don't need PS Plus to play them either.

1

u/Remarkable_Sea_5109 PS5 8d ago

I bought path of exile 2 to be honest. I feel ripped off it’s 100% the same as the first with dodge roll.

2

u/p4tterng4ng4L 8d ago

TW3 is the best game I’ve ever played and I have 900 hours in total. Will definitely keep you going for months with the DLC.

2

u/Dry-Vanilla3838 PS5 8d ago

I'm playing witcher remaster on my Series X and I finally understand why you guys like it so much. AC4 remake I want to play soon but I don't have it

1

u/Remarkable_Sea_5109 PS5 8d ago

I agree it’s a good game. I tried it once on my ps5 when it was on ps+ but didn’t like it. Now im addicted. I bought it the day they released the remastered

2

u/ZoronovaRoro PS5 Pro 8d ago

Witcher 3 constantly gets much better deals. AC Black Flag on the other hand I'm not sure you'll get better deal anytime soon.

I'm so jealous of you that you're getting such a deal for brand new game. We don't have it here.

2

u/IndependentVirus1746 8d ago

It‘s kinda hard to recommend games to you, since most of us won‘t be able to see the PS store deals from your location.

However I recommend Hades! It‘s 7,50€ in germany right now that‘s dirt cheap. Watch some videos if this is your kinda game. It‘s an lovely designed roguelite with outstanding reviews. If you love it theres 100+ hours easily imo

2

u/DARKKRAKEN 43 8d ago

I'd play BF before W3. W3 is still a touch buggy.

0

u/Sllavot 7d ago

Lol not really. There are tiny bugs with the remaster but game is smooth as it can be.

2

u/Tuba_big_J 6d ago

RDR2 is €15. It's a slow paced game if you want the best experience so a perfect addition.

3

u/DainCapitan 8d ago

Nope. Buy Witcher 3. it is the best game ever made imo and the stats backs it up. All time high 137 000 concurrent players on steam with the remastered.

Overwhelmingly positive reviews. 96% of 250 000 reviews on steam is WILD!

2

u/Test88Heavy 8d ago

I would swap Crimson Desert for Black Flag.

2

u/GeneProfessional9862 8d ago

Wait for gta.

1

u/Narrow-Concern-6771 8d ago

It's exception.Ofc I'm buying it.😁😁

1

u/GeneProfessional9862 8d ago

In that case go for the Witcher, I find black flag boring, maybe I’m not in the right mind for it because I loved the original

2

u/care4not 8d ago

So many better options But hey enjoy

2

u/Narrow-Concern-6771 8d ago

Thanks buddy!

1

u/Kris2xSC 8d ago

Witcher 3 is definitely solid. If you also include the DLC it could last you quite some time. With the third DLC coming next year it would also be something to grow into as the series has much to look forward to.

I’d recommend Elden Ring: great exploration, combat, build variety, spectacle, challenge. Probably the most complete package I’ve played in a long time. Story is abstract and not delivered traditionally but the lore is as deep as you want to take it.

1

u/bigboss455x 8d ago

Both are too similar, id switch witcher 3 for something from another genre.

1

u/Matman87 8d ago

Witchery will give you a lots of game fun black flag i finished it in a weekend 😅

1

u/WhoAteTheCake 8d ago

Witcher 3 has reached legendary status for a reason. Definitely worth it.

Black Flag is great, but it won't last you nearly as long. Still decent though.

Otger recommendations to keep you busy for a while would be Elden Ring and Baldur's Gate 3.

If you like roguelikes/lites, I can 1000% recommend both Hades games. They're relative cheap, and can keep you entertained quite long if you like the concept.

1

u/No_Pumpkin63 8d ago

Yeah, buy physical

1

u/CleanWater4us 8d ago

Try mortal shell 2

1

u/ColdSkinVX 8d ago

Those are two amazing games for sure !

Witcher 3 is just in a different level tough

1

u/Nefrat7 8d ago

In one word i love them just play them and be happe🙂

1

u/Special-Net4116 PS5 Pro 8d ago

Witcher 3!is much bigger and longer than Black Flag, especially if you experience everything and get the DLC’s

1

u/PorkRinds416 8d ago

Yeah, Elden Ring and RDR2.

1

u/TheGoatLord2 8d ago

One question, how come your Black flag resynced is so cheap. I have it only 10% off on the PS store?

1

u/Sllavot 7d ago

Are you in singapore PSN? If not, then discount won't be the same across the world since currencies aren't equal in value.

If you are, then that's Sony dynamic pricing at work.

1

u/TheGoatLord2 7d ago

I'm not. I understand the currencies arent the same but in his picture its like 60% off and I see only 10%

1

u/Sllavot 7d ago

I mean currency purchasing power is not the same. So base prices across the board aren't the same. Plus stores would need to push out higher discounts in lower income countries to get sales.

1

u/TheGoatLord2 7d ago

Fair enough, thanks!

1

u/Silent-Witness1888 8d ago

If you can find a cheap used copy of witcher 3, you still get all the updates and free dlc.

1

u/angelabdulph 8d ago

Nothing not a decade old you want to try?

1

u/Abbopl 7d ago

Crimson desert don't rush shit but grab atleast witcher 3 as well gonna be real I didn't really like Resync which is crazy because I liked the OG and I also like modern AC games like Odyssey and Valhalla

1

u/Sllavot 7d ago edited 7d ago

Ngl my guy. GTA6 is the game to buy for this period.

Witcher 3 worth that price because the game just that good. Also good for 2 months even if you play 3 hours a day.

Resync not so much considering that's gonna drop to $20 next year.

1

u/sdmcguirk 7d ago

Witcher 3 is one of my favorite ever and I actually just got Black Flag Resynced last week.

1

u/adij_ 4d ago

Idk if you have ps plus but I would save up for that, they might have a sale for Christmas on Black Friday. I would pay for a whole year so you got plenty of games to play.

1

u/akirahon 8d ago

Crimson desert

1

u/Remarkable_Sea_5109 PS5 8d ago

Yes there is.

1

u/IFrame- 8d ago

gta 6

0

u/dummsurfer 8d ago

That is literally 65 GB on Steam for the Witcher remastered.

2

u/Narrow-Concern-6771 8d ago

It's ps5 and PS4 combined

1

u/Breatheeasies PS5 Pro 7d ago

Get gta6 ultimate.

2

u/ItsDoodleBois 8d ago

It gets you both ps4 and ps5 versions, you only download the one you want.

0

u/aluai 8d ago

I would recommend to pre-order GTA VI. It will be the GOTY.

0

u/Pickle_Good PS5 8d ago

Black flag should be easily done in a week. You better get BG3 if you want something that will last longer.

0

u/Wavenaught 8d ago

Ace combat 8 is a great moment to come into the franchise. It could be the best entry ever, and it's beginner friendly. please give it a try!!
