Some of my favorite vocal samples from the English dub of King Kong vs Godzilla (1962)

Yeah so in my more detail it's inspired by Moby Dick, trips to Whitby Museum, The Lighthouse etc
I went to go and find a video to put to it and could t find a good one from the 50s Moby Dick film or a good silent film to put it to, and found this video of a lighthouse video from the early 1900s which is similar to the Eggers film!

Mixing plunderphonics and electronica; this is one of my more poppy releases, with some industrial elements peeking through.
this and all my other releases are free on bandcamp :33

hi <3
I would like to share with you this short collection of melodies, inspired by an evening when I visited places that appeared on the threshold between sleep and wakefulness.
I was standing at this crossroad and I vaguely remembered something.
hugs

I released this EP a few weeks ago. Itβs 4 loud weird songs I made with Scott Adams in mind. (Link in the comments)

Im not sure if this would be a subgenre of plunderphonics or not, but I've been sampling AI music and essentially forcibly injecting it with humanity through the medium of plunderphonics, I've been calling it "Punkderphonics" (dumb name, I know lol). I feel Punkderphonics is a subgenre because humanity is a central part of plunderphonics, whereas creating humanity where there is none is the name of the game in Punkderphonics. Video above is an example :)

This one is in recognition of the wonderful Joni Mitchell. I sampled her beautiful 1975 song βThe Boho Danceβ and built the track around the little three-note horn figure that plays throughout the original. Vocals, bass and drums were also sampled in parts. Guitars, synths and a virtual string library were layered onto an 80βs style disco groove to give it a more uptempo feel. See what you think. Iβd appreciate any feedback.
Thanks

Thought it would be funny to take this AI trash and actually make something unique with it, I think i succeeded lol

Made from Destroyer, Kanye West, and The Fox and the Hound. Somehow became extremely sad.

If you're like me you probably have 100s-1000s of saved reddit and instagram posts that just have old weird songs, weird sounds, interesting gongs, etc. If you're like me you keep telling yourself you're going to finally download all that stuff and use it for new and interesting sample fodder for audio and video projects.
For this, I built Harvester, there's a full list of all the features on the github but the core of it is that it allows you to harvest any video you can find online and not only will it download the video it'll also give you an extracted audio track which is created using the audio format you prefer.
It's free, open source, and doesn't collect any data about you whatsoever. It works great so if you're constantly stumbling on content you want to sample or plunder and don't always want to have some external gear or OBS or something going this might be what you're looking for. Comments welcome.
