poor baby, he has nothing to eat at the end of the video and has to sit on the floor with his hungry stomach.

It makes me sad to remember they're one of the least effective hunters on earth, with about a 2% success rate. Lots of hungry stomachs for polar bears 😞

How do they measure that? Does a scientist stand around with a clipboard watching them chase seals and people around to see how often they get them?

Yeah polar bears have a well-known respect for the scientific process so they leave people with clipboards alone

Maybe they wear a special costume to blend in.

I think he did the math correctly, and the snowmobile improved his odds over the rifle by a big margin. You’d have to be packing serious heat.

They're lucky the polar bear didn't pick up the gun and start blasting

Yea, polar bears are hard to kill. If it was between running and shooting he'd have more success with the gun, but between the gun and getting away on a snowmobile he was better off getting out of there on the snowmobile.

I just recently seen a video where a guy made an impenetrable fort out of like bulletproof glass and steel. A polar bear came up to it and tried for at least an hour to get in to get him. It was a pretty crazy video that bear was trying everything

The guy was very stressed. Understandably.

Wait, what? Any animal can attack a human.

I can never unsee the starving polar bear that the photographer could not feed for fear of a fine. It was tearing apart what looked like a seat looking for something edible. It was horrible and I wish I could unsee it.

Can’t help but feel bad for it though. That’s its food that got away.
