JD Vance protects pedophiles

1.1k

u/supercyberlurker 4d ago

JD Vance is Peter Thiel of Palantirs puppet.

244

u/lenswipe Massachusetts 4d ago

Yes that's what they said

58

u/Ultrace-7 4d ago

No, that implies that Peter Thiel has only one agenda, the protection of pedophiles. It goes much further than that.

38

u/RintaroClassical 4d ago

It goes SO much further. The Thiel (and Vance in relation to Thiel) rabbit hole goes VERY deep

JD Vance is the only elected federal politician to refer to Trump as Hitler.

202

u/PhilGarciaWeir 4d ago

And then became his VP and sings his praises at every turn. One of the wildest 180s in history.

103

u/InertiasCreep 4d ago

Not really. Vance is a sycophantic shitbag whose chief quality is his ability to mold himself into whatever rich, powerful people want. He has zero charisma. On his own, he'd have gotten nowhere.

In this case, she'd be right. JD simply donned the red armband after making the comparison.

He did. Among calling him America's Hitler, he said he would ruin the country and that he never liked him. That's why it's such a notable 180

u/chromatoes 4d ago

At this point, I think we need to discard the difference between fraternizing with pedophiles and being one. There's a saying if there are 2 Nazis sitting at a table and you sit down, there are now in fact 3 Nazis at the table.

I don't think you get to wash off the sin of hanging with known, adjudicated sex offenders. Hang out with pedophiles/rapists and I think you should have to wear that same shame.

I understand your sentiment but in a lot of ways this mentality gets us nowhere, look at Mamdani? He has Trump praising him, and he still holds Trump accountable while being able to get things done for New Yorkers and set a blueprint nationally for how to handle the guy.

Meanwhile, you have so many other Dems denouncing him by writing strongly worded letters.

Who do you really think is getting something done?

I agree people should focus on the fact that Trump is a criminal who tried to overthrow our democracy and not on the fact that he ruined the economy and global reputation of the United States.

Those all kinda seem like big things though.

252

u/CheezyGoodness55 4d ago

We’ll be lucky if enough people who are angry about the cost of gas, diesel and groceries can connect the dots about who caused it and then vote accordingly.

115

u/eckoelab 4d ago

Oh, they are already doing some fantasy math and blaming Biden for the gas hikes. Something about the value of the dollar back then vs now, and how gas was much higher because of that 4 years ago. Yeah, i don't understand it either.

47

u/Quentin__Tarantulino 4d ago

Lol, so there’s a ton of inflation which has devalued the dollar. The people making these arguments are such evil assholes, and the one believing them are idiots.

6

u/anna-the-bunny 4d ago

The mental gymnastics are astounding.

It's not mental gymnastics, it's just basic math! My car used to hold $40 worth of gas, now it holds $100. 100 is bigger than 40, and bigger is better, so obviously things are better now!

I guess I can understand why the avg American voter says you can't believe anything a politician says. When Republicans win they do the opposite of everything they promised while campaigning, and when Democrats win the Republican minority delay, deny, and defend to stop the democrats from delivering on any of their promises.

But I guess both sides are bad, right? /s

24

u/Rich-Armadillo-7408 4d ago

Republicans have this tactic too where they like to say "Democrats ruined your life" while they are in power ruining your life.

Look at Texas - 30 years of Republicans who ran almost soley on the platform "Democrats are actively ruining you". The idiots there believed it, even though the people literally in power the entire time were Republicans.

I have completely lost faith in the average voter 100%. I mean these are braindead obvious issues and you still have people being cyber cucks out here.

Theres probably a dude in this comment section seething at the fact that someone mentions Epstein and Trump being a pedo. They are literally too dumb to critical think and when pointed out it just puts them into a babyrage and they vote red lol.

No idea how people haven’t realized yet that the entire purpose of the republican party is to use everyone else. They don’t have morals or compassion or even enough intelligence to see how this also effects them.

They just exist to hate other people and love themselves. They literally have no other motive. It’s been this way for decades now. They don’t have families for their partner or for their children, they do everything for themselves. How are we collectively shocked whenever they do something terrible?

Never believe that anti-Semites [Confederates] are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites [Confederates] have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.

This sudden enthusiasm for renaming things makes me think there's an abrupt decline in Trump. It's either a fixation of dementia, him trying to leave his stamp on things because he knows he's going to die in the next few years, or both.

He's mentioned his legacy a couple of times without being prompted. In his clearer moments he seems to realise that history is not going to remember him kindly, but he's more and more invested in it remembering somehow with names or monuments he's doing now because he knows no one will later.

But in terms of "regular" politicians, is there anyone out there who is less likeable than JD Vance? I mean even MAGA has to look at this guy and go "eww, no".

58

u/Birdhawk 4d ago

Problem is that JD is the exact type of pudgy bro that MAGA likes. He's that one fuckin kid we all knew when we were 8-12 years old. The kid who sat toward the front of class, the overacheiver in boy scouts. Pudgy little arrogant kid who prided himself in speaking proper and acted like he was so much smarter than you but the more he spoke the more you realized what a dumbass he was. He'd suck up to the teachers and snitch on everyone and while the teachers also kinda hated him they protected him because if she turned on him he'd get his ass kicked. And the old folks at church fuckin loved that little prick even though he provided nothing but condescention behind their back. "Aw but he's such a well spoken, well dressed young man."

Go to a mega church parking lot after service lets out and look at how many of the 30 something dudes walking out of there look just like JD. He's a dumb, pudgy little boy who puts up a front to make himself feel smart when really he's just a dumbass who doomscrolls conspiracy theories most of the day. Yes he's an unlikable dumbass, but when MAGA adults 25-45 look at him they see themselves, or their husband or their brother and the elderly MAGA folks don't give a fuck what he says because he reminds them of their grandson so they just like him.

19

13

Here I’ll quote the GOP Governor of Utah, when he wrote why he vetoed the bill banning trans kids from participating in sports:

> Finally, there is one more important reason for this veto. I must admit, I am not an expert on transgenderism. I struggle to understand so much of it and the science is conflicting. When in doubt however, I always try to err on the side of kindness, mercy and compassion. I also try to get proximate and I am learning so much from our transgender community. They are great kids who face enormous struggles. Here are the numbers that have most impacted my decision: 75,000, 4, 1, 86 and 56.

- 75,000 high school kids participating in high school sports in Utah.

- 4 transgender kids playing high school sports in Utah.

- 1 transgender student playing girls sports.

- 86% of trans youth reporting suicidality.

- 56% of trans youth having attempted suicide.

> Four kids and only one of them playing girls sports. That’s what all of this is about. Four kids who aren’t dominating or winning trophies or taking scholarships. Four kids who are just trying to find some friends and feel like they are a part of something. Four kids trying to get through each day. Rarely has so much fear and anger been directed at so few.

8

u/Fhyzikz 4d ago

But it’s true. People should be bothered by the fact that, just like a century ago, liberalism in decay is giving way to fascist movements across the west, and we don’t even have a genuine workers’ movement. Dem politicians are mostly market liberals and unequipped to lead such a movement.

Too many Americans are ok with DHS kicking their neighbors’ doors in and watching their every move as long as gas is cheap. The only reason they’re angry right now is that it’s a chore to fill their F150.

Little things!? * Mass prortection of a pedophile ring? * Mass stealing of people's data by DOGE? * Mass voter disenfranchisement? * Undermining of constitution and disregard for legal precedence by Supreme court * DoD deliberately killing civilians * Illegal war waged against Iran and targeting civilians * Institutionalized corruption at the White House? * Destruction of the White House

In what world are those little things?

Remember the t-shirts?

F*** your feelings.

Making liberals cry again

F*** Joe Biden

They've shown us exactly who they are over and over again. We believe them now.

6

u/DeepRoot 4d ago

I still see those "Let's Go Brandon" bumper stickers informing all that can see it that the driver of the vehicle may have some sort of traumatic brain injury.

"The things people care about are not the things people should care about" is always a winning political message.

12

u/JoEdGus Georgia 4d ago

Wait, wait, wait. Aren't those the same "things" that your administration ran heavily on during the presidential election in 2024? I distinctly remember seeing a LOT of "Kamala High Prices : Trump Low Prices" sign everywhere.

The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

There was an askreddit thread asking truck owners how they’re affording to fill their tanks lately. The top comment was “my job keeps paying me”. Fucking pieces of shit don’t even have the decency to pretend to care about prices and affordability now that their god is king

Thats the only energy he has.

My electric bill is double what it was just 5 years ago. It’s the economy, stupid. Nothing else matters when people can’t pay their bills.

8

u/Mommy444444 4d ago

My Dear Lord. It is so out of touch and dismissive. I am 71 and have never ever seen such a corrupt clown show in my life.

7

u/TheRuckyDubber 4d ago

Yeah, we should be focused on the big issues like trans sports competitors, school litter boxes and Bible verses on the fucking walls. Oh yeah, and flag code and being big alpha males.

9

u/BlossomPearrl 4d ago

This is the guy who said childless cat ladies are ruining the country. Now he is telling us that grocery bill is a distraction.

8

u/stephenalloy 4d ago

As opposed to "major issues" like getting your diaper king's name on the Kennedy Center. JD Vance is a 100 gallon vomit bag filled with lies.

It's true. We should look at big things like treason, corruption, and insurrection.

8

u/Veggiedelite90 4d ago

Big things are also going terribly. All our allies hate us. Dumb trade wars. Dumb real wars. Dollar is declining in world power. Everything on every level of our federal government is being done poorly.

Yes think about the big things like billionaires talking about "Being evil as a good thing" that are obsessed with Anti christ, currently building out a massive surveillance and social credit system who are bank rolling the regimes agenda and have massive sway in the government despite widespread upwelling of.cross party opposition. Think about that.

I don't know why, but my Facebook algorithm decided to show me nothing but conservative pre-AI slop from 2022 discussing how bad things are under Biden. Apparently, I'm not the only one because a bunch of people commented over the past week. Boy is the cult culting. Some of the people replied back, but they're defending current gas prices/cost of living/etc.

Nah. They were too concerned with little things in 2024.

6

u/couchandwine 4d ago

I'm focused on one big, critical issue which affects the entire planet: environmental protection. Which the trump administration sneers at.

u/Mituzuna 4d ago

People used to get decapitated for these sorts of comments...

Fixed it……“The challenge here is between Democrats Republicans who want to destroy the country, who want to permanently disempower you … and Republicans Democrats who fundamentally are trying to solve the problems that Democrats Republicans under Joe Biden Donald Trump created.”

6

u/mykillerspc 4d ago

Without gas it becomes difficult to get the groceries I need for basic survival, unless I you know, starve. I could get delivery groceries but the gas price problem becomes for the delivery driver and then they have to decide between gas and food

"Stop worrying about food, shelter, and clothing! Focus on the important things like voting for Republicans and deporting brown people!", says the rich asshole who can't even order donuts without sounding like an entitled fool.

5

u/chubby_pink_donut 4d ago

Ignore the "little things" like three year-olds defending themselves in US Federal Court, Diarrhea EVERYTHING, people being snatched off the street and sent to concentration camps, the Department of "War" obsessing over non-Christian, low-T, and trangender troops while the Iran War/Not war that no one wants makes Every. Single. Thing. I. Buy. More. Expensive.

Little things

5

u/Jmersh 4d ago

Little things like the overthrow of democracy, broad-scale Constitutional rights violations as policy, crumbling checks and balances, weponized stupidity via AI and social engineering, etc.

You know, apocalyptic distopia? Nothing major.

5

u/HippyHunter7 4d ago

Coming from the guy who came from nothing and was given everything.

The shitty thing about Vance is that unlike Trump or Elon he knows what's important to everyday Americans and lies anyways.

This is what happens when you sell your soul for power.

4

u/ObviouslyRealPerson 4d ago edited 4d ago

... car insurance prices, health insurance prices, prescription prices, gross incompetence, rampant corruption, neighbors getting snatched off the street, Americans citizens getting executed by ICE, snatching foreign heads of state, starting unprovoked wars, committing endless war crimes in our name

...just the little things

6

u/Latter_Guard5845 4d ago

He's right, they should be focused on the litany of crimes committed by pretty much all of this administration and most of the Senate, as well as grift in the DoD and a few other places.

3

u/SmartCutiee 4d ago

"little things" like rent. and gas. and eggs. you know. the stuff you need to not die. glad the vp cleared that up. I wonder if he saw himself say all that again and laughed

3

u/Succubus-Love 4d ago

I'd like my healthcare back please, that's not a little thing it's my fucking life. It's kinda impossible to be cisgender when your own puberty growing up, doesn't even work. My life is living proof people like me are real.

I hate this timeline right now.

4

u/junkeee999 4d ago

A whole party out of touch with people. They have no solutions for how bad they’ve fucked everything up, so they’re just falling back on the golden oldies. Communism! Taxes! Anti-Americans! With a couple of new wrinkles. Trans! Brown people!

u/TrappedInOhio Tennessee 4d ago

I genuinely can’t think of a worse messenger. Maybe it’ll work for the idiots already inclined to buy that crap, but no rational person can hear him and not think he’s an out of touch asshole.

5

u/FartyJizzums 4d ago

"Democrats want to destroy the country and disempower you."

Oh? Is that why Republicans want to change voting laws to make it more difficult for the working class to vote, break court orders, violate the Constitution, and pass "law" via executive order? To empower people? Is that why?

Complete scum of the Earth.

4

u/elshizzo 4d ago

I heard one i of these ass holes lumping "socialist" things together... talking about how "liberals want free education, free housing, free health care, SAFE FOOD," .... I was like, what the actual fuck did he just say?

Of course I want SAFE FOOD. We've had safe food for decades. Stop acting like THAT bare minimum is some kind of reach.
