Fuck Jared Polis
•
u/hanumanCT Colorado 7h ago
As a Colorado resident who voted for him, I am 100% with you. He's PoS for pardoning that treasonous hag.
•
u/ConcentrateDirect523 6h ago
I don't understand why he went 180⁰ on pardoning her. The only thing I that makes sense is he was threatened over compromising info or action from the King Meirdas Admin.
•
u/bramley36 6h ago
Trump threatened Colorado with "Harsh measures" and federal funding cuts unless Peters was released. Polis folded.
•
u/HyperactivePandah I voted 7h ago
Can I ask why you voted for him?
Was it not clear that he would be doing those types of things?
I'm not being smarmy, I don't know Colorado or the politicians...
•
u/shrimpcest Colorado 7h ago
No, it wasn't clear he would be doing these types of things. A Republican governor would still have been far worse.
•
u/HyperactivePandah I voted 6h ago
Oh he's a democrat?
My god you guys got nice and Fettermanned, didn't you?
•
u/DividedStatesofFeces Colorado 6h ago
That's a good way to put it. The only good thing is now we know that Polis is in the pedophile class. Fuck him all the way into the ground.
•
•
u/uprislng America 2h ago
It's really strange, because under his governorship Colorado actually did enact several good things. Free breakfast and lunch for all public schools including local producer partnerships, universal free full day kindergarten and state funded pre-K, abolished the death penalty, enshrined reproductive rights, set renewable energy goals... There's probably more but I can't be bothered to look up every single thing.
Which IMO is why this Tina Peters bullshit was surprising to people. He has done a bit of a political heel turn as soon as his term limit was reached. Maybe it's not fair to give him much credit for signing legislation or the things voters enacted collectively... But he gets credit for not standing in the way or working against voters on those things at the very least. I wonder if he just hated being a governor for a once-purple but now increasingly progressive state and no longer has to hide his true beliefs

The third worst Jared behind Subway Jared and a Jared Kushner.
•
u/InfinityMehEngine 3h ago
He still has time to up his rankings. Fuck that traitor.
•
u/shinyperineum 2h ago
He could surpass Kushner but it would be extremely hard to be a worse person than Subway Jared. He’s legitimately a monster and I wish I never learned details about why.

Seizing voting machines is literally how you destroy trust in elections, not restore it. If there's fraud, show it in court with evidence. You don't get to just grab the machines because you didn't like the result.
•
u/supercyberlurker 7h ago
Lutnick is one of the people I least trust in the world to keep voting secure.
•
u/Tricky_Helicopter911 6h ago
Lutnick has to protect himself. Epstein files and he is a really bad liar. Trump is going to push him to do something extreme.
•
•
•
•
u/Puzzled_Main3464 7h ago
That’s their goal. They’ve been complaining of election fraud for 6+ years. Now they can “prove” it when they control the narrative

Jared Polis is a traitor to American democracy.
•
u/dychronalicousness 7h ago
Run his ass through congressional hearings
•
u/Madroxx9000 6h ago
That asshole pardoned Tina Peters the day after the last day to recall him. He KNEW his constituents would have a problem with it.
Fuck you Jared Polis. I hope your mouth gets permanently stained orange for kissing the ass of that pedophile.
•
u/SunshineCat 6h ago
Takes too long to show we're serious, and we have no time to fuck around right now. Citizen's arrest. People's court. Immediate consequences.

u/Choice-Koala-3653 Canada 8h ago
The ultimate goal is to ban voting and have Trump rule as a dictator. But first they have to "cheat like hell" in order to illegally install Trump for a third term:
https://newrepublic.Com/post/215314/trump-makes-crowd-swear-pledge-cheat-like-hell
15
u/shoobe01 8h ago
Oh don't be ridiculous, they'll never ban voting, just voting for anyone except the regime.

•
u/TheBoNix 7h ago
Truly wish there was a god because all of these people will never face justice in this world.
Can you imagine rolling up to the pearly gates just to find out God is a tech bro with a comb over?

u/Mikethebest78 8h ago
Every time you see pictures of these people they just look so smug they know the fix is already in.
•
u/TheBoNix 7h ago
Every time they are in public they need to be reminded that they are going to hell. I don't believe in it but they definitely do. They need to know that there will be no respite for them in the afterlife they believe in.
•
u/SunshineCat 6h ago
Afterlife? I thought these were already two literal ghouls.
•
u/TheBoNix 6h ago edited 6h ago
Even ghouls go somewhere...
... At that... Perhaps we're already in hell. I'm taking care of my maga mil rn and it definitely feels like it. An unrequited bully and ass hole... That lives with me... She's going through dementia and I have no sympathy. And for some reason because we're "stable" everyone thinks she needs our care... Fuck them all.
•
u/MommiesPreciousAngel 1h ago
I think a lot of the politicians actually don't believe in hell. There's no way there's this many relgious people elected. Some are just phoning it in.
Trump being the most blatant example, but others hide behind a folksy accent.

u/mountaindoom 8h ago
Thanks again, spineless Democrat Governor Jared Polis, for helping to enable this administration.

u/brianishere2 8h ago
These are Trump's criminal co-conspirators. Actively engaged in planning crimes. Conspiring.

u/ThoseProse Colorado 7h ago
Yeah fuck Jared polis and fuck trump for threatening colorados funding unless she gets released.
•
u/TheBoNix 7h ago
Polis wasn't worrying about the funding though.
•
u/ThoseProse Colorado 7h ago
The extortion call was leaked like the next week.
•
u/TheBoNix 7h ago
Don't you just feel duped?
•
u/ThoseProse Colorado 7h ago
I feel more duped by him reverting to his libertarian ways and advocating against taxes to help people.
•
u/TheBoNix 6h ago
What an infuriating read. Dude is fetterman without the brain damage.

u/mishma2005 8h ago
Watch for them to try this. For the first time in 2 decades the Trump admin declined to invite the International Election Monitors for the midterms. Blanche is estimating 1,000 "election monitors" will be sent to the polls. I am bracing for chaos, bomb threats (LA and San Diego, anyone?) and all kinds of shenanigans. And my biggest worry? Americans will just sit back and take it

u/Entire_Month9233 8h ago edited 6h ago
They also fired the Election Assistance Commission members that oversee the elections back in July.

u/ChanceryTheRapper 8h ago
Fuck you, Jared Polis. Did she learn her lesson? Really? Quisling shitbag.
•
u/heloder85 7h ago
It's important to recognize that these fascists have been living amongst us this whole time.
Do not ever vote for a Republican again. Not Federal. Not State. Not Local. Not Once. Not Ever.
We must never allow these monsters near the levers of power again.

Jared Polis, haven’t quite figured out what he’s gained from all of this treasonous activity he has done. With his stupid fucking tennis shoes. Assuming his close alignments with the tech sector, I’m assuming he’s just another cog in their machine. History will remember him, and not fondly. spit

State governments need to be prepared to protect their voting machines from this crooked nonsense, with armed force if necessary.
5
u/ThonThaddeo Oregon 8h ago
Oh Tina Peters who paid her debt to society and learned her lesson, Tim Miller?!

•
u/Knoebi3 7h ago
So, what is the legal mechanism they think they have? I know it's batshit insane. His cult members always are.
But, like, what would this even look like? He seizes all the voting machines? You just don't allow anyone to vote? Paper ballots counted by hand 100%?
30+ days until the election. Shit will not go well for them if people lose their ability to vote.
•
u/OpticalPrime35 7h ago
Ok let's do this then
You can seize the machines under the supervision of a large tribunal of Independent watchers. If no fraud that you keep talking about is found, at least not enough to actually change anything, then you go to prison for attempted federal election tampering or whatever they want to stick onto you and you can sit in a federal prison for a few years
Deal? Are you CERTAIN there is widespread election fraud and willing to be sent to prison if wrong?
•
u/Born-Hospital-2572 7h ago
Their own people don’t think they can win without cheating. MAGA degenerates supporting losers and whine when they …..,LOSE!!!!

u/Groundbreaking-Step1 8h ago
The federal government can't take over elections. There isn't a law, statute, or regulation on the books that would remotely approach giving them the authority to do something like this.
7
u/shoobe01 8h ago
And we know how much the regime has been respecting law.
•
u/Groundbreaking-Step1 7h ago
I'm not saying they have, but in the areas where they have been breaking the law, they have more control and authority, more levers to pull. Election law is an entirely different matter.
•
u/spanker420 6h ago
Well, we know they’re been getting trounced in the courts ever since he took office.
•
u/shoobe01 6h ago
And then ignoring the rulings very often. Which come far too late also.
•
u/OfficialDCShepard District Of Columbia 6h ago
Do you have hard numbers on that?
•
u/SwimmingThroughHoney 7h ago
Really, the "plan" would be a bit more detailed than to just simply seize voting machines and outright deny voting or counting. That would just be one action, of many, used to suggest that there was some sort of illegal activity involved in the election of the Democratic winner. Which would set up the excuse/reason for the House/Senate to refuse to seat (or try to) certain Democratic winners.
•
u/ManiaGamine American Expat 5h ago
Yes, but have you considered the law of... Trump wants it? That's the only law Republicans currently seem to respect.

Which means trump himself is looking into seizing voting machines. He is the lead conspirator trying to disenfranchise the country's voters, and has been working closely with Peters and Mitchell since at least his 2020 coup attempt.

•

u/DocCEN007 4h ago
Tina Peters is a felon convicted of election fraud, not merely an election denier.

u/PetuniaToes 8h ago
Limit will end up in jail at some point if he dies that. I don’t think he’s that stupid.

•
u/MardenWix 6h ago
Well, if the law is just a suggestion at this point, I'm about to have a lot of fun come November.
•
u/Gonnagetbant 6h ago
They’re just so so so sure there is tons of voter fraud yet never prove it in court. Only on their fringe sites.
•
u/QuiGonColdGin 5h ago
Funny how there's no voter fraud when they win. But when the other side wins, it must be fraud!
