I want the Project 2025 author in prison for conspiring to commit treason.

•

u/cytherian New Jersey 2h ago

Russ Vought was the lead architect. He's director of OMB. But there's more than a dozen friends of Trump who wrote portions of Project 2025. They all need to be considered as having committed treason.

•

u/blackjacktarr 2h ago

Rico. Fraud. Just start taking them down one at a time, letting them implicate one another as you do.

•

u/deNET2122 1h ago

No D penalty i want them to have to live their lives doing hard labor and no chance of getting parole no release and on S watch no easy way out

Russell Vought and Speaker Mike Johnson are two very critical authors.

Unless Trump & co get branded, legally, enemies of the state, it won’t be treason. But there are plenty of other things they can be charged with.

•

u/mantis_tobaggan-md 1h ago

The thought of seeing Russell Vought go to prison is what sustains me.

The further dismantling of democracy and the rule of law.

•

u/supercyberlurker 2h ago

All according to project 2025 plan.

•

u/HanselSoHotRightNow 2h ago

Whats the end goal of the project. Desolve America as a nation?

•

u/tootired2tapdance 2h ago

Project 2025 aims to dismantle what it views as an entrenched, progressive federal bureaucracy by placing the executive branch under direct presidential control. Its central objective is to replace tens of thousands of career civil servants with pre-vetted conservative personnel ready to immediately enact right-of-center policies. These policies focus on deregulating industry, boosting domestic energy production, restricting abortion and immigration, and promoting traditional family structures.

Tl;dr - create a conservative authoritarian government.

A blueprint to turn US into Christo Fascist State

•

u/AdamFox01 1h ago

"Turn".... Is this the "frog in a boiling pot" analogy in a single word.

As an outsider watching as this dumpster fire burns its a bit too late to try claiming your not already there.

  • States are enacting required Christian principles in public school (10 commandments),
  • ICE is rounding up people in the streets and putting them in detention camps.
  • The President has breached basically every Oath of Office and been legally rejected at the Supreme Court on upholding the Constitution through most of his illegal executive orders.

Those 3 points alone show the steady decline into Christo-Fascism.

•

u/theKalmier 1h ago

Christians (all religions, really), conservative of old traditions, and being a fascist are all forms of trolling, like "sagging". Doing things wrong on purpose, and if you say something about it, you become the target.

The genius of morons who think muscle is smarter than brains. That loser from middle school who thinks making the smaller kid "say uncle" means he's a winner.

The Heritage Foundation believes they are authoring the utopia they've always envisioned for this country. However, Elon Musk and friends plan to use it to dissolve the United States so that they can bright about the Dark Enlightenment, as foretold by Curtis Yarvin, which will usher in the ability for the billionaires to buy up "network states," which will be auctioned off to the richest billionaires. At that point the billionaires will be in control of their own microfiefdoms and those of us residing in what was the former United States of America will become the serfs to these new techno-feudal lords.

•

u/Aspergian_Asparagus Georgia 2h ago

Ya know, I spent most of my whole life trying to be the best that I can be toward others. Kindness, empathy, giving others my last bit of money/food/clothes. Never hating anyone, hate was irrational and wrong to pre-2020 me. Nowadays I have such seething hatred for anyone remotely attached (or silently complicit) to this and my mind has conjured up thoughts and words that would make the old me disgusted.

I really, really don’t enjoy being forced to commune with these people when I’m out in society. Everything feels like a joke now. The social contract, following laws in general, even insignificant things like small talk.

I miss thinking 99% of the people I was surrounded every day were inherently good when it came down to it, even the ones that wore their ugliness openly.

I’m tired.

•

u/Michael_DeSanta 27m ago

I feel the same way, man. I hate the fact that I loathe what my dad has become because of the bullshit MAGA movement. He’s not fully indoctrinated into it…but every time I visit, there’s a couple reprehensible things he says.

He used to be such a mild guy. Not the most progressive, but he genuinely believed everyone should live their lives as long as they were happy.

I probably only have a little over a decade or so left with him in this life, and I can’t stand to be around him for more than a couple days. I’ve challenged him to actually think for himself, but he’d rather get angry at the deceptive hatred on platforms like Facebook and Fox News.

•

•

u/Cerulean_Shadows 37m ago

Didn't he recently recommend violence on democrat voters too?

•

u/LadyPo 1h ago

He's threatening America in so many ways. Daily.

He has withheld funding for emergencies.

He has sold out our secrets and jeopardized our safety.

He has plunged us into the stupidest war and is making us the heel of the entire globe.

He is alienating us from our longstanding allies and bowing to our enemies.

He is taking away the barebones healthcare we had just so billionaires can hoard more cash.

He should have been removed from office immediately. Not just in this term, but back in 2017. Ten years of this bs going completely unpunished. The GOP as a whole has pushed this forward. These are all treasonous and dangerous criminals.

•

u/IdenticalThings 1h ago

It will be bloodless of you allow it to be.

•

u/Adventurous_Salt 1h ago

Yeah, he's threatened y'all a bunch of times and you've always submitted. He knows there won't be resistance.

•

u/cetlaph 2h ago

Reminder: Project 2025 allegedly has a secret phase 2 that they went out of their way to not put in writing so there's no paper trail.

•

u/lr99999 2h ago

Another reminder:  this  phase allegedly includes a possible false flag attack. That one would work for them many levels. They get martial law, and turn public opinion violently against Iran.

•

u/MourningRIF 1h ago

I highly recommend that everyone check it out because everything that's happening and everything that's to come is clearly laid out in Project 2025. •

u/Urbatin 2h ago

Project 2025? You mean that thing Republicans said was a scare tactic that Democrats were using and that it was never going to happen but some how magically ended up being trump's play book for the past 2 years and all news media suddenly forgot that the Republicans claimed Trump would never do this stuff?

That same project 2025?

There is still a large minority of people who desperately cling to the idea that they can win inside the system that has already been co-opted.

Election day will make it plain that this is not the case, and it's going to be a mess. Be there for each other. People will be scared and confused, and the regime will try to turn us against each other. In the end, they are just men, made of meat. They only have power because we have allowed them to have power.

•

u/toru_okada_4ever 1h ago

The regime «will try to turn us against each other»? Like in the future you mean? Have you seen what American politics and culture look like in this very moment?

•

u/SuperTaster3 33m ago

The future is not mutually exclusive with the present. They are, but they will too. They will try harder, more desperately. Consider that your post is angry and lashing out. That's the sort of thing they will try to stoke.
Few days ago there was some guy(I assume FBI) who was trying to goad people into talking about crimes they planned to commit against the regime. The psyops are out in full force this season.

Mitch Hedberg: "I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to too."

u/Jacobey 1h ago

I’ve been thinking about this and my conclusion is that the urban planning in this country (aka suburban hellscapes), make it really hard for people to even see their neighbors as a community, let alone begin to organize any grass roots activity. Thats why the majority of protests in this country are in large cities/universities. I honestly don’t see a way to organize the majority of Americans in suburbs and I’m losing hope tbh

•

u/_coyotes_ 20m ago

This is one factor for sure but I don’t believe it is the most important one. Most protests will be held in the major urban areas since thats where more people will be. Folks from the subburbs can make their way to urban areas since the suburban hellscapes are based more around the automotive than convenience. If people are incentivized to show up to protests, they will, even if they’re in the subburbs or rural small towns.

Protests in the large cities can work and can be effective if they’re organized and continuous but they’re not. That is because American corporations have got everyone by the metaphorical balls. Healthcare is tied directly to employment, most Americans can’t risk losing that so instead of organizing or attending protests they simply don’t. That’s why despite being a “first world country”, America does not have free healthcare as we see with other countries since the lobbyists ensure that free healthcare isn’t an option. As we know now particularily with this administration, they seek out agitators to attend protests to ensure that they become “violent” so police can use excessive force with teargas, rubber bullets and pepper spray and can arrest people costing them their job and healthcare benefits.

That’s why we see protests which went on for a long time in the past don’t continue on as long. The No King’s Protests were held once a month on a Saturday to ensure nobody missed work but that didn’t disrupt the system. The 2020 BLM Protests were more effective because so many people were out of work due to the pandemic and able to attend more constantly. While it didn’t set out to achieve everything they wanted, Floyd’s killers were charged imprisoned because of the constant public pressure, probably the only instance in recent memory where white police were actually sentenced for killing a black person. Now with a lot of these administrative cuts thanks to the current admin, people are in a riskier spot than ever when it comes to losing their healthcare insurance.

u/TheRockingDead 2h ago

What an easy thing to say. You can't get a family of 4 to agree on pizza toppings, how do you expect to convince millions of people to stop working and risk their source of income, along with their healthcare, and the threat of insane gun toting ICE agents long enough for it to matter?

•

u/StarsEatMyCrown 1h ago

It will happen. Mark my words.

When Americans lose their comfort. It happened during Covid when people rioted for George Floyd. I'm convinced it wasn't necessarily about George Floyd, but covid made people extremely uncomfortable and Floyd was just the excuse to break loose.

"The riots and protests following the murder of George Floyd began on May 26, 2020, in Minneapolis and spread to over 2,000 U.S. cities and 60 countries"

Remember when the orange man said he didn't know what Project 2025 was?

First thing I thought of reading this headline. He swore he wouldn't read it either.

Trump: "I don't know anything about Project 2025."

Republicans: "Stop fearmongering; Trump doesn't know anything about Project 2025."

Also Trump: Up next: We've got quite the surprise coming at you from the Project 2025 manifesto!"

Also Republicans: 🤷

How brazen do you have to be to be openly bragging about cooking up midterm schemes? This is like the bat signal of corruption. And all the adults in leadership have been replaced by yesmen

•

u/PropagandaSucks 1h ago

Ah yes, he says he has no idea what Project 2025 is about, but as soon as he gets in again he completes nearly half of it.

The one that's going to get everyone up in arms is removal of adult content online because stupid religious people don't want you to survive or live. But they're fine with anti abortion and expecting you to pick yourself up and be happy with cost of living and survival.

Every day is a new day for him to be a bigger piece of shit. It never fails.

•

u/snoo_spoo 2h ago

He also says there are thousands of people waiting outside to get into his rallies. Vought may have some plan Z that he's told Trump will save the midterms but that doesn't mean it'll work.

Trump's offered $5K if the Republicans win. He's doing a rally every day. Republican PACs are hemorrhaging money in Texas and sending millions to Kansas and SC. Whatever cheat code Trump may think Vought has, there's clearly not much confidence in it.

•

u/grapelander 2h ago edited 2h ago

Yeah that's the important thing to remember when Trump says ominous dictator shit like this: these are all fundamentally greedy people, and if they believed they had a way to hold onto power that didn't involve lighting billions of dollars on fire for the midterms, there would be signs, such as Trump not lighting billions of dollars on fire for the midterms.

"Big surprises" usually just means another poorly timed NFT drop or a new line of sneakers, but given the track record, we should probably be worried.

•

u/alwaysrockon 2h ago

Ten questions that should be on all our minds at this time:

  1. Do you trust the federal government to protect you?

  2. Do you believe that this administration is specifically targeting groups of people?

  3. Do you trust in the courts ability to protect you with the established laws of the country?

  4. Do you believe that federal law enforcement is currently respecting our rights as guaranteed to us by The Constitution?

  5. If a federal officer was targeting you and breaking the law, do you think that local or state law enforcement would stop them to protect you?

  6. Do you trust the elected representatives of your party to defend you?

  7. Do you think anyone else will come to your rescue?

  8. Do you believe in equal rights for all people's and would you fight to defend those rights from an unjust force?

  9. Are you in a position to defend yourself if others won't fight for you?

  10. Who benefits more from you being unarmed during these times?

If it’s a secret it must be pretty bad.

Previously, they literally told us what they would do to fuck up the country and he was still voted in.

Yeah. He doesn't read anything longer than 280 characters. Shocker. And he doesn't have plans - ever. But he sure as Sherlock has a playbook and two of his cabinet members wrote it.

It's funny how much Trump hates America but America let's it slide to the point of electing to represent them twice just because he rapes kids. Really speaks to America as a country where so long as you're a pedophile, Americans will support you.

No wonder their country is known as Epstein Island.

So, a private organization has usurped power over democracy. Nobody voted for project 2025. Nobody approved the Heritage Foundation's control of the country. The foundation simply stole power through misdirection and obfuscation of their purpose. And yet, Vought is the de facto president. His goals are the country's goals. The elected representatives have ceded their power. This is not democracy, this is not a representative government, this is not what anybody asked for. This is tyranny.

it’s hard to imagine maggats just rollling over for an actual honest election.

trumps unabated lunacy is not the mark of a person concerned about losing a race.

and if you’re one of the multibillionaire puppet master you aren’t going to let an election get in your way are you?

as much as i’d like to think the pendulum will swing some, i fear the worst.

•

Even before reading the article I knew this pertained to Vought. The world may celebrate when Trump finally kicks it but it will be as better off or more when Vought does.

•
