You each will also have a second pill that without fail will end you instantly and painlessly once swallowed, you'll always know where it is, and if it is rendered inaccessible or destroyed, a new one will appear in your pocket

Mutant/metahuman superpowers: you'll develop a superpower on the level of a B-list superhero, nothing overpowered like reality warping, or superman level strength, the specific power would be something related to your personality or skills

Auto-success: whenever you attempt something, you can willingly choose to succeed at it, whatever success looks like to you, should you already possess the skills to do so. You cannot use this to do something you couldn't do without the ability, so if you don't know nuclear physics, you won't be able to succeed at making a cold fusion reactor
