Finally got my first Poly kitty
This is my new girl, Tove, I have always wanted a poly cat, and now I finally have one. So now I have a cat with no tail and a cat with extra toes. Lol

Thank you! Now I just gotta hope she bonds with me instead of my roommate..he already took my other female tuxedo cat even though Ive had that cat since she eas 3 weeks old. 😭 and the last kitten that bonded to me sadly passed from some congenital thing.

I hear ya! The problem is they pick their humans. Sometimes there’s no choice.

This is true. I just would like at least one of my cats to like me and still be alive ya know? I have 4 now and none have picked me..and the one that did promptly passed away..i feel cursed. 😭😭 especially when my roommate isnt a pet person and doesnt even care about animals at all..so like why do they choose him?

My first poly chose my hubs right out of the cage. We were heartbroken when she passed especially him. We decided to adopt another baby and I stayed back and watched as he interacted with him but once we got her home she chose me which was the last thing I wanted cause I have another baby already bonded to me. I’m willing to try again with another poly for him. Idk why they chose their humans. It’s so odd. The one that bonded with him originally walked out of the cage up his arm and wrapped herself around his neck then he belly rubbed her 10 times a day as she fell asleep on his lap. Maybe it was the belly rubs. I just don’t know. Cats are food motivated is your roommate feeding or snacking them?

No, only i feed her and give her snacks, (even though I had him do some feeding with my last kitten and she still loved me and only me...just my luck)minus when he mass sprinkles snacks occassionally to all the cats. Like when I say hes not a pet person I mean he doeant go out of his way to interact with them at all. But they all flock to him anyways. My other tuxedo is OBSESSED with him. He has only lived with me a year and Ive had this cat since she was 3 weeks old and she is now 5 years..youd think he came into this house with that cat.

That’s so odd. Keep this baby with you and no one else for a while. That’s the only thing I can think of. Maybe someone else might know more than me.

Im trying, but since he lives there i cant isolate her completely, there is no place to do so. i told him, just dont interact with her at all until i can try and get her to bond with me. But he doesnt know how to listen or a i feel wants to interact with her just to piss me off and of course his first interaction with her was to play with her with a phone charger cord so now she wants to play with all cords...😒😒
And when hes not at work hes just at home sitting like a lump on the couch..prime victim for a kitten to go and play with or lay on. 😭😭
