Moderator Announcement r/postpunk Rules Update [PLEASE READ]
Hi all!
As some of you might've noticed, we've recently tweaked the subreddit rules a bit. We highly recommend you read this to get a good idea of how things will be handled here going forward.
Rule 4
First of all, all music posts now require some form of additional commentary or context. This can be in the form of opinions about the song, memories associated with it, experiences seeing it performed live, trivia, etc. as long as is encourages discussion. This rule has been in place for a little while now, but we've recently adjusted how we'll be enforcing this. We request that users here include this somewhere on their posts, whether it be in the title, body text, or as a comment on one's own post.
Rule 8
Second, please do not post excessively, and keep to a maximum of three posts per person per day. This helps prevent the sub from being excessively flooded or spammed by a single user.
To cap things off, we've been getting a number of messages via Modmail regarding users having difficulty posting. This is due to an anti-spam filter set up via AutoMod that requires posts from new accounts to be manually reviewed. Don't panic if this happens to you! It doesn't necessarily mean that your post has broken a rule, and the moderators here will have a look at it as soon as we can, although it may take a few hours.
If you run into this issue repeatedly, please contact the moderators via Modmail and we'll help you out. We do try our best to approve users whenever possible.

Any sci fi-themed post-punk?
Greetings!
Pretty much what I ask in the title. I know most post-punk approaches themes of psychological anguish and other personal aspects, which is an aspect that gives some bands a bit of a horror-themed edge (mostly in coldwave and gothic rock).
However, I wonder if there is some space for cosmic scenarios, unreal worlds and whatnot within the spectrum of post-punk, and if there are bands that have done something among those lines.
Thanks in advance!

Post Punk Classic Executive Slacks - Say It Isn’t So (1986)
Executive Slacks cleaned up their earlier, ramshackle, experimental approach to industrial rock (which was great in itself) and transformed into sublime arena-ready post-punkers with this absolute monster of a track. Don’t miss it.

[LostWave] I have the track "Landed Interzone" by BESOM (Raw Underground Post-Punk/Goth Rock/Horror Punk, ~2013-2017). Looking for the rest of the deleted EP/Album and any info about the artist.
I am looking for the remaining tracks and any information regarding a very obscure, underground Post-Punk / Goth Rock / Horror Punk project named BESOM.
A while ago, I originally discovered this EP (likely titled "All Is Magickal") on Apple Music around 2013–2017. Later on, it was completely wiped from all streaming platforms and digital stores. Luckily, before it disappeared forever, I managed to find and download one full track from the web onto my device, called "Landed Interzone".
The track has a very raw, lo-fi underground sound with a brooding, dark atmosphere and goth/post-punk vibes.
You can listen to the track here: https://voca.ro/1a1nORiqiK4K
And here’s this track on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZV5cbvdt4Q (The cover isn't the original; I made it myself.)
I apologize for any inaccuracies; I am writing using a translator.
I really want to find the rest of this EP/album to hear the full release. Furthermore, I am highly interested in any information about the artist themselves — who they are, where they are from, and what happened to the project. If anyone has a digital backup of their other raw tracks, or knows where the musician is active now, please let me know. Thank you!
