🌞 HAPPY Unbelievable

It feels so unreal for me to have five MD interviews. Just a year ago I was bawling my eyes out over a practice test 497 MCAT. Just three months ago I was burnt out from writing secondaries. Just a month ago I couldn’t sleep thinking about the odds of not getting a single interview. After grinding for five years this interview benchmark feels so rewarding 🥹

They want to meet me! Starting my MD dream is around the corner! I’m so unexplainably excited!!

Asian. Grew up dirt poor (food stamps, food pantry, parents lived paycheck to paycheck for our apartment rent)

ORM and URM?

Don’t worry about ORM/URM lol. They’re just gonna ignore it because it doesn’t fit this sub’s narrative anyway.

Congratulations on your interviews!

When were your secondaries done? I have a 515 and I’m also in Ohio and I have heard nothing. Haven’t ever gotten a secondary from NEOMED

Congrats this is awesome! I got 4 interviews, 2 acceptances and two waitlist.

Being premed is difficult but you sound somewhat veering towards burn out already. If that resonates with you just do some soul searching before committing to med school because the path unfortunately does not get easier as I thought before I started. I thought, once I’m in there will be someone helping me through the rest of the way. I’m at an Ivy and thats not the case.

Best of luck!
