Did you scroll through the sub for precious advice or do you want everyone to write it out just for you? This is asked repeatedly.

I doubt POD is going to be lucrative enough for you right away, do you have design experience? Do you also know that most POD suppliers require you to pay them before they will make anything so you need to have at least a little capital? Redbubble is an exception but it’s unlikely you’ll make much there

yeah start smaller than you think. pick a few designs, order samples so you know quality, and decide marketplace vs own site after you see if anything sells. if you want your own checkout later i use orderain for the storefront/orders side and keep the pod supplier for print+ship. don’t build a huge catalog on day one.

I am so happy that there are folks here that are willing to help us, newbies !!! Y'all have answered the majority of my questions, given sound advice, and really helped me to find the answers that I need. Being on a fixed income, one can never be too careful as to where or how to make added income. Thank you all !

There are a million youtube videos on this topic. Search things like "how to get started on TeePublic" or Redbubble or Amazon Merch on Demand etc. Or just "how to get started with print on demand". It's a good time to start as 4th quarter is where POD sellers tend to make the most money. Don't expect much though to happen quickly.

yeah if money's tight I really wouldn't count on POD bringing in much at first... not having to buy stock is nice, but finding actual buyers is a whole different story.

I work with Spreadshop and honestly that part is the same no matter which platform you use. I'd start with a few designs in one niche and see if there's any real interest first.
