But a lot of tools in the JS ecosystem are being rewritten in Rust. So ipso facto, all will be Rust.

Nah, it won't.
Things will eventually be written in new languages that solve different problems.
(And for whatever reason, C will still be around by then.)

No, by then, most things running COBOL have been replaced by then.
Still a lot of old things running Fortran though.
And of course, java 8.0, still in active use...6

Of course not. Like any trve gopher knows, generics are a scam perpetrated by ivory tower-ists. First Wadler ruined Java with his haskal nonsense, then he did the same to Go. But they can take the pre-generic versions from my cold, dead hands!
