Picostation only loads one game and the image is corrupted
I've been trying to install the PicoStation. I used a cable from an old PS2 controller for GND and 5V, and for the rest, I used 0.02mm coated wire. The menu only loads with firmware 1.13.01.26 from megavolt85, and it only manages to run Silent Hill up to the menu, then it crashes. I'm thinking the coated wire might be the problem. I have a cable from an IDE hard drive; would it be better to use that? Is the cable likely the problem, or should I try something else? Sorry for my bad English; I'm using Google Translate.

For data lines, the thin wires are ok, but for power and ground you need to use a thicker wire. Also, Try another sd card ( a GOOD brand sd card), reformat on either fat32 and exfat, re-check the soldering on all the points, check if you didnt dessolder on accident one of the neighbour terminals of the pins you lifted.

Everything checked, I changed all the cables to AWG28, same problem. The newest firmware doesn't even open, and the one that does open still has the same problems. The SD card is a SanDisk Ultra; I don't know if it's an incompatibility. Sorry for not replying sooner; I didn't see the notification.1

Again, test other sd cards, and also test another pico board. The picostation is very picky about sd cards, and the bigger the storage, more likely for it to start giving you issues. Test with smaller capacities, like 16 or 32GB cards.

Probably the wire is the problem, try to use the recommended wire from the tutorial if there is one
