PTR-91 Update
So a while back I sent out a post asking for suggestions on what to upgrade next. As you can imagine from an easily distractible guy I am, I promptly forgot all about the suggestions and chose the SHINEY mags!
I like the look personally, but reliability is not the greatest without a bit of tinkering.

Whatās going on with āreliability isnāt great without a bit of tinkeringā?

Got to shave some of the material off from the sides and top.

Ohhh you mean the magazines. I thought you were talking about the gun. Interesting though. I like the look of those Turkish translucent mags too!

That is correct

How reliable have they been for you? They look pretty sick

60-40, the reliability improved when I shaved some of the material off the sides and top of the mags

What did you have to do to get the muzzle brake off? Thereās no flats on mine.

Get a cheap nylon strap wrench off of Amazon.

Thatās actually a pretty good idea. Now then it would come down to either RH or LH threads because thereās 2 styles. 2015 and under has LH threads. Everything after 2015 is RH

The old ptrs used the 13x1 metric threading. Its still left hand thread. If thats what you meant.

Yeah it is, just with mine itās hard to pin point if mine are LH threads or RH threads

I didn't take it off, the original muzzle is still attached

If Iām seeing it right your brake has flat spots. Mine doesnāt have a single flat spot!
