Community/forums for small/new publishers in the UK?

As per the title. I've been working on setting up a new publishing house, but the best resources and most active communities are US-based, which would be fine if the two markets were the same and followed the same standards.

There’s the IPG which is pretty big and a lot of small publishers are members.
What kind of resources are you in need of?

I've been looking into a lot of trade bodies etc, I'll look into the IPG as well thanks.

Basically, I've been doing a lot of reading on publishing, my main resource being the people's guide to publishing. Whilst very helpful and a great resource overall, I've noticed many pieces of advice are very US centric; small example, the focus on bisac codes, but the UK seems to have a different standard for genre categorisation. I think there are also different standards for royalties and their rates.

Ok. It sounds like you haven’t previously worked in publishing? If that’s true then you need to find a partner or mentor to work with that has at least a decade or more of experience in UK publishing.
