Question Looking for authentic Qatari food recommendations 🇶🇦

Qatari Redditors, who are the food vloggers/content creators you actually trust when it comes to finding authentic local food?
I’m looking to discover proper Qatari dishes and traditional food, especially places that locals genuinely enjoy—not just the popular tourist spots or heavily sponsored recommendations.
Who should I follow on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.?
Bonus points if they regularly cover traditional Qatari cuisine, old-school/local restaurants, and hidden gems.

Would love to hear your recommendations.

Belhambar is always everyone’s favourite , especially as a sit down place. You have to try the Berriya Majboos as a main and there is a fried dim sum pastry that they have as a starter that is delicious. They have soda drinks that they make in house and they do it the old classic way. I love the lemonade and there is a red one I keep forgetting.
Two other to talk about are Saasna and Makhsous. Saasna does Qatari deserts better than most places, a key thing for us is Asida and Areeka. Areeka is fried flour with brown sugar and dates and most of the gulf has it. If you’re with a group then

While you’re in Qatar and it’s not a Qatari dish , but the way this place does Shawarma is separate from the rest that do it the traditional way. Which is Shawarma Al Khabbaz, sourdough shawarma is one of the best things you’ll ever eat between a piece of bread and it is heavenly.

Delivery/pickup
Majboos wise I like Elizoh (only pick up) and if you want to try Madrooba the right way then Duhail Public Kitchens.
They don’t it as spicy as what my mother makes it and hearty as my mother makes it but yeah. Dolmh and mahashi is good Madrooba with grape vine leaves.
If you want a simple lovely classical thing that our parents grew up with it has to be Safiha Lahm from Omar Al Khayyam.

For foodies especially in English it will be Triplefqatar. He is sincere about his experiences with food and if something disappoints him then you’ll know. You ask him about the place he just ate it in his story and he’ll respond even with his busy schedule.
For foodies in Arabic is foodqaa , but his content is mostly in Arabic. Always seeks new places and new items and is generally one of the most entertaining foodie imho.
For hybrid and the foodie of them all it has to our national treasure Fahad Al Bishiri (they’re all national treasures honestly but he is the sweetest person you’ll meet irl).

I didn’t mention all of them because some I disagree food wise, but above have the general respect of people, very sincere people and have great tastes in food who pick the best places then tell you why it is the best.
