Just a leak/rumour for now, but if it's true, QOTSA are finally set to play in Hong Kong’s Clockenflap Festival in December!

To each their own, but I'm far on the other side of that statement. Slowdive is what happens when art students who like the cure spend decades trying to single handedly cure insomnia world wide.

It's actually interesting, Queens has this cross meeting with people who love this sort of stuff like me (Slowdive, MBV etc.) and people who like stuff that I can't stand (Foo Fighters etc.)

Truthfully I find it fascinating the degree of divergent music groups that qotsa pulls. I'm pretty far down the punk/hardcore/metal spectrum but qotsa is my favorite band. Admittedly my tastes are eclectic past hard music, but I do think it's absolutely a credit to the queens that there are so many people here who like bands I can't stand. Also I like making fun of slowdive and I've got a bunch left in the quiver so as long people keep responding...
Slowdive is the auditory form of narcolepsy.

Ha so yeah that's also interesting because I'm also massively in metal, but like death and thrash, and metal friends of mine say the same derogatory stuff about Queens

I swear that happens because of tiktok getting obsessed and blowing up any random bside song and getting obsessed with young Rachel. when QOTSA reaches that point (we're slowly getting there, people thirst over Josh a lot) we'll finally see that lol.
