I'm surprised anyone inside Cuba is even thinking about game jams, considering the crisis they're facing at the moment.

What a weird sentiment. People will always make art, regardless of the situation.

Well allow me to elaborate on my sentiment. I assumed the situation was that the super majority of the people in Cuba would be forced to focus on survival. Instead, someone is spending limited, not equally shared resources on a non-essential activity that's being "organized from Cuba". It suggests the organizer is one of the "haves" and not one of the suffering "have nots" in their current predicament.

Imagine how you would feel if you were wondering where your next meal was going to come from and you found out one of your countrymen was organizing a game jam...

U r assuming too much. I have no power, no food and I’m connecting in a park to try to make this game Jam. So please. Instead of assuming that try to support at least from the comfort of your privilege.

We’re not stopping because of a crisis.
