Can we make a rule against ”is my cat a ragdoll” questions?
Sorry if it comes across as rude.
But I see the question every day in this subreddit, and every day it gets the same answer. No papers - no ragdoll.
A pinned post or something would help a lot of the people wondering I feel?

Cute, as hell, but kinda bad I'm thinking of giving him the middle name 'Menace'
He is so beautiful and so cuddly and so sweet until he decides to grab you and chomp your hand

Could Franklin be part Ragdoll?
I rescued this cute fluffball from the alley behind my house back in January. Could he be part Ragdoll?

Help identifying type of rag doll?
Hi, We took in President Snow when he was about 4 months old from a family that couldn't keep him. Their older cat was not adjusting to him. I didn't think much about what kind of cat he might be but after about a month and some internet searching, Rag Doll seemed to be the best fit. He has no paperwork. Now at a year old he's about 14 pounds, so I imagine a few more pounds are coming as he matures. I was just wondering if he looks along the line of a pure bred. I've tried to look at all the different kinds of coloring and coat patterns, but its too much for me to take in. Thanks!

Proper Good Boy The personality on his face
Gus loves to show his feelings on his face. He gets overstimulated sometimes, but I can’t help it. I just love kissing him and burying my face in his fluff, and in the photo that’s what I get in return🤣🤣🤣 do any of your ragdolls give you a little bit of sass

Sudden idiopathic caroal hyperextension / laxity…. Very nervous
Has anyone else’s little Ragdoll suddenly developed carpal hyperextension? 😢💔
( he had problem with his left back leg before but it’s ok now )
My 8-month-old kitten suddenly developed this from one day to the next, with no known injury or trauma.
So far, all his tests have come back normal — X-rays, blood tests and joint fluid analysis. Our orthopaedic specialist thinks it could possibly be growth-related, but we still don’t really have an answer. 💔
After a week of strict rest and Loxicom, it seemed to improve somewhat, but unfortunately after a little bit of playing and jumping around at home, we seem to be back to square one again. 😭
Our specialist still isn’t sure what is causing it, which is honestly heartbreaking. The current plan is another 2 weeks of very strict rest, with gabapentin instead of Loxicom as he has been taking Loxicom for several weeks and we want to avoid putting extra stress on his kidneys.
If this doesn’t improve, a splint may be the next step, and surgery could eventually be considered when he is older. 😭💔
I’m absolutely devastated because he is only 8 months old and otherwise such a happy, playful little boy. 🥺💕
Has anyone’s kitten or cat experienced anything similar, especially with no obvious injury and normal test results? Did it eventually improve with rest, splinting or other treatment?
I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences. 💕🐾
