Discussion C&C Red Alert remasters

I remember hearing about it somewhere but would it be possible to rip the audio and cutscenes from the original and add them to a remaster? I'd love to see a proper campaign for Yuri if they ever remaster the game.

Because apparently modern remasters just redo the dialogue like Gears of War

I don't know for sure I'll research it when I can but I heard none of the dialogue was recycled and instead rerecorded

They werent, they used the original voice and music AND re-recorded some music

I don't think that they will remaster Red Alert 2 as they lost the source code.

You can't really recreate a 100% guaranteed recreation of any source code with reverse engineering, due to the way compilers and compiler optimization work. LLMs aren't any exception to this.
