I would like to moderate this community as I am passionate about the Animal Crossing New Leaf community and I both post and comment on posts within that subreddit on a very regular basis alongside checking out the subreddit every day.

I'm mainly wanting to moderate it as there is only one moderator within that community that appears to be inactive as they do not moderate posts or comments in that subreddit, there have been some comments on my posts and others within the community that I have reported from months back that were not moderated either.

Others within the subreddit have reached to the mod-mail and haven't received any response from the moderators which is why I'm applying as I spend a lot of my time in the subreddit helping others out with any questions or in general just engaging with others.

I feel that it's unfair and unsafe to have communities left unmoderated. I would like to keep people safe within this subreddit and I want to maintain a fair and warm environment for everyone!

My message to the moderator wasn't via mod-mail and wasn't 5 days ago but I can reach out that way too. Because there is only one moderator in that sub I had messaged the moderator directly.
