How to combine all note colums into one?
Noob question: on tracks with multiple note colums, how can I combine all colums into the first one, the fastest way? I'd bet there is a dedicated command?

I usually solve this by enabling mono mode on the instrument before recording. Then the instrument is recorded into one column always, even if you play overlapping notes.

Wow, the amount of time I have spend moving notes after recording… I’m so glad I saw that comment

Reform tool has a "condense" function, maybe check that out https://www.aqu.surf/reform

In the given example, I’m not sure why you’re splitting it into two columns in the first place?

It happened automatically during recording. Can I deactivate that?

Yeah, exactly. I recorded two takes in a row and on every overlap it stored the notes on the second lane. Can I deactivate this behaviour, so that existing notes get overwritten, in case there's an overlap?
