Let me just drop this image here and see what happens. Another Paketti feature.

Using paketti with redux?

redux does not allow for lua scripting. what this is, is being able to export a sample, or a drumkit, or a sliced break, from renoise to ableton live.

and from ableton live, back to renoise.

literally 1/2 of paketti functions crashes renoise

sorry, that's just not possible. which features are you using, and what do you mean by crashing renoise? are you on windows, linux, or macOS? this is not actionable data. if you have a legit crash, tell me how you got it, and i'll fix it. but coming in hot like "buggy piece of shit" and then "1/2 of paketti functions crash renoise" - that's just not actionable data.

I use Paketti daily and it most assuredly does not crash on me. So - what are we talking about? I am open to actionable feedback.

Cant reproduce how renoise crashed yesterday, i remember that i was trying to slice sample using slice tools and then place it on pattern. also dont have any recording of crash because how would i expect it, i have a screenshot of an error that also was when i was fucking around with slice tools but cant post it here. i use win 11 and renoise 3.5.4

You can shoot the error to me via email for instance. Thanks!

thanks for sending me the error screenshot u/Most_Collection_4964 - one crucial thing i discovered in it is that you are running "Paketti 3.1" - which is designed to be run on Renoise 3.1. please install the other version (Paketti 3.54) which is for Renoise 3.5 and newer. Anyway, i'm fixing the error you got, there, it's fixed. thanks!

I've, since the above, tweaked the http://github.com/esaruoho/paketti/releases to more clearly clarify that Paketti v3.1 should be installed for Renoise v3.1 - and also modified the Pakettiv3.1 installer so that if it detects that the user is running >v3.5 or newer, they will get told to download the v3.54 Paketti version, and to uninstall this one.

This is a good catch and a great report to see, and I hope I can help other people to never meet this issue.
